    5 SUBS.

Just read the BBC article, so it’s 5 from 9 named….20 man match day squads.
  2. That £60m of disposals must’ve included some “late” deals from season before, but it’s still good, prudent cost control…albeit nicely supported by PPs! They still get £15.5m this season too. Not only a year ahead of us in managerial / rebuild terms, they are probably further than that based on the cost cutting job Danny Cowley started. We are playing catch up, and will be interesting to see where we are next summer.
  3. What would be really interesting to see is a breakdown of season card holders in each section of the pic below: if we take 19/20, we sold circa 13k and revenue was £3.622m, so average price is £278 per SC. I guess we can’t go on just how many sold, has to be a combo of that, plus where they’re sold, and how much revenue it brings in. My view is that I’d rather generate £3.622m from 18k rather than 13k, because footfall means we see more spend elsewhere, but I’m not the bean counter here.

    5 SUBS.

I’d happily accept a compromise of 5 subs allowed, if you only allowed 5 to be named. Having 3/7 or 5/9 just means no real thought to who you have on your bench.
  5. I didn’t watch the game, but here’s his ball receipt and ball passing maps, then I overlaid on top of each other.
  6. No 158, should’ve got a 42 point deduction.
  7. We often hear fans bemoan the player who passes backwards, yet it’s clear we have to look at why they that and what happens next. A really interesting article from Leeds fan and analyst Josh Hobbs can be found below. There is a nice bit of focus on Alex Scott (keep your hands off!). But also Han-Noah Massengo makes Josh’s list too. Well worth a read, and it includes some video clips to help explain it too. @Harry helps show where Wyscout data doesn’t always bring the “recyclers” to the fore. Oh, to gets access to Statsbomb and the like to start to analyse chains of passes and their threat.
  8. Just a quick view of Owura Edwards who is doing well at Colchester.
  9. They’ve blocked my iPad from accessing the website, but not my phone. It’s an interesting read for sure.
  10. For some reason they banned me. All I said was that piece of halibut was good enough for Jehovah! ?
  11. That’s one way of looking at things. I quite like not having to take time off work, not queuing, etc, etc. ???
  12. From Visa’s website. Pg8. https://www.visa.co.uk/dam/VCOM/regional/ve/unitedkingdom/PDF/visa-preparing-for-psd2-sca-publication-version-1-1-05-12-18-002-final.pdf If you’ve got more than one card, eg, debit and credit, I’d spread them across each.
  13. Yes, that sounds like the gist of it. As it stands with Joe in u19 category and me getting a free carers ticket I’m not one to moan at the price of a SC for both of us. I do like a moan at the price of my parking season ticket which I’ve heard might go up considerably this season. Watch this space.
  14. £30 low value exemption….unless your bank’s fraud rates are crap!!!!
  15. Jerry - I know this won’t be your domain, but PSD2 / SCA (Strong Customer Authentication / 2-Factor Authentication) is primarily for “Online purchases”. If someone phones up, that is exempt (MOTO - mobile orders / telephony orders). Are you taking a phone call and then processing as an online txn? You shouldn’t, Worldpay should know that it is MOTO and not require SCA!
  16. No, I highlighted in blue to show I’d used that field to cover the stadium rebuild costs.
  17. For info. There is no longer any “disabled person discount”, the discount percentage was phased out equally over the past 3 years. Some EU rule that I never quite understood was the reason given.
  18. Yes, I was a bit shocked when I plugged their numbers into my simple xls (shared with you via DM) Here it is for benefit of others:
  19. Reminds me of an old Don Bradman reel they used to show on BBC Test Match during a rain break. Peter West (pre-Benaud) would get all excited that he could put on the old b&w clips of yesteryear!! Aussie fans in that clip “wait til Our Don gets in”…..giggle, giggle as a 10 year old.
  20. I’ve had a quick scan of the accounts….do you have the Promotion Bonus amount and which year it fell into….it didn’t jump out at me?
  21. I wonder how many of the current SC holders planning to renew won’t renew because of £10-20 rise? If you weren’t gonna renew anyway, for whatever reason, the rise becomes irrelevant. There will be a small number (???) who were hoping for a slight reduction to justify buying again, who now won’t buy. My guess is that there will be a reduction of SC sales, and that reduction will predominantly be for other factors, not a price rise per se. But we shall see.
