Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but I think he comes across really well in interviews. Didn’t know he was Irish,  strikes me like someone who could really get a dressing room believing in themselves and also someone not to mess with

Hes the man great bloke to help nige get rid of the other two muppets .

My question would be " Do you consider that the Board , including you, made a horribly wrong decision to employ Pulis instead of Moyes?"

With a follow up of "If you had recruited David Moyes at that time, do you now believe that City would have been a fixture in the Premier League if you had financially supported him as you did for another more recent City Head Coach?"

Unfortunately gave all his money to the wrong bloke out of all recent managers and we've been paying for it eversince .

When fit, I would be interested in seeing Weimann kinda wide right but not full on right ie right of a front 3, Semenyo wide left and Wells central- think that could be interesting. If we played Weimann too far to the right that would hinder him- and us- significantly. That aside, agree on Weimann and Wells.

Service can be improved for sure but with a good CM 3- again when fit- of James-Massengo-Williams, Atkinson able to step out from the back 4 and Tanner and DaSilva have room for growth, service issues could resolve over time.

We have options though, Scott and Semenyo when fit I'd like to see more gametime, Wells and Weimann I think have potential to combine.

Scott always a good option to have on the bench youl at least get effort and energy.

    Why?

O'Dowda been near to useless under 3 different managers. 157 appearances, 9 goals and 16 assists says it all.

And spends most of his time at BUPA  with Baker.

He was exactly what was needed after the last regime of MA with LJ and DH was exposed.

He has a lot to sort out but he is doing that slowly but surely.

I expect the team spirit and work ethic is down to him and his methods and attitude.

And don’t forget Dave Rennie, he is a great aquisition.

    Curtis Fleming also

My Man city mates live in Radcliffe remember watching them a few years back told Joe Jordan about a striker called Johnson who later went on to play for Ipswich and forest joe questioned if he was better than Bob Taylor  I said hes on  a par turned out to be a couple of million pound player.

No, the point wrongly being made was that the purse strings were only loosened when LJ became Manager. SC was given a budget and attempted to sign two unobtainable players, if he had lowered his sights a little he may have got someone that fitted the bill. Either way the money was there.

Even allowing that cotterell would have signed two of the three you mentioned when deals were all set up till someone tried to renogotiate lansdown wouldnt have spent or wasted the grand total of fifty odd nobodys .

    You miss the point, surely?

SC only needed one or two top quality players to be added to a cracking team. He was trying to use it wisely.

Compare the one or two players SC wanted/needed to complete his team to the fifty or so ? often useless articles signed under LJ's tenure.

Exactly johnson ripped the team apart signed mostly crap and weve been suffering ever since.

    Potentially, or potentially not.

Strange how SL’s cheque book was found after he sacked SC wasn’t it.

SC gave us fans the best season in decades, he deserved some loyalty from the owner imo.

Yes mate so true we havent seen footy that comes anywhere near that been going downhill ever since and to give our warchest to that cretin sticks in my throat .

I’m so so tired of rebuilding. We’ve been doing it since the season Flint Bryan and Reid were sold. It’ll mean HNM will have to be off to fund it, maybe a couple of the youngsters, maybe Semenyo, when these are the players we should be building around. I just don’t see where the funds come from for a rebuild, unless it’s going to be freebies and promotion within.

This has been the case for the close on 60 years ive been watching  unfortunately get it right at the back one year nothing upfront .tmThen good upfront  Tammy etc and crap at the back but thats Bristol city .

Again you are wrong, the efl forced it on Southampton as they tried to put their parent company (the one who owned the ground) into administration in order to avoid a points deduction,

Derby is still going through the processes expect a points deduction once the accounts have been reviewed

Hope so they been screwing the system for ages morris thold chairman knows all the tricks .

    They are nicknamed the Biscuitmen!

    Gone to QPR hasn’t he?

I guess EFL could refuse to register them, like they did with Brum’s Pederson.

Im long of the belief that if you loan someone (say over the age 23) that you should pay their full contract costs. U23s should be about development and perhaps a percentage should be paid, e.g. 25%.  Would make clubs think twice about hoarding.

Yes sorry another team QPR last year stating they were skint ref Andre grey also paying Charlie Austins wages.

Having lost £93m over 3 seasons Reading are under EFL transfer embargo which means they can only sign Free agents or loans (half season) and pay no transfer or loan fees .

How come they get Danny Drinkwater from Chelsea for a seasons loan !!!!!!! The guy is on the best part of £100k a week .

Think Derby get away with murder - Reading really take the biscuit .

Also signed Andre grey aswell matr.

Not a school prefect, just rather puerile humour.

I said I wouldn’t prolong this, and you may rest assured that this will be my last post (to you) on this thread.

I should also like to assure you (before you block me) that it has never been my intention to get you banned - I would not do that to any poster on this forum; indeed, I am sceptical as to whether it would be possible even were I to try.

I apologise for making what I considered amusing, albeit clearly sarcastic, responses to your posts and shall intrude no longer.

Best Wishes for the upcoming season.

Thank you with all the sarcasm it makes you think twice about posting I lost it with someone on here before and had a ban I enjoy reading most people's opinions have a good season .

I don’t intend to prolong this, but may I suggest you at least check your spelling and punctuation before calling somebody a ‘thicko’.

For goodness sake, your post was only 8 words, only marginally more than the grammatical mistakes therein.
