The Admiral Brown kit apparently, is worth a heck of a lot of money. The home version was class though!

I was about to post that I thought I'd heard City fans respond with Tom Thumb. I certainly was and I was on the Sky Red button! -
Ouch. Sorry to hear about your gout. You'll love Dark Matter. I'm not a great Guinness fan but Dark Matter is in comparison, far better!

I can't remember who made the tackle, but that name is another blast from the past!

What is the Space Hopper like to drink having bottled it....assuming you've opened one by now? Last week, I have found by tinkering that the carbonation dial, if turned a few degrees clockwise, will pour slower and with a lot less froth. Worth a try.

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Tom is that it was definitely a penalty at Notts Co, FA Cup, Sunday January 1983! They were in Div 1 and we were just off the bottom of Div 4. Just like Alex Scott's penalty that never was, so was Tom's. It happened in the final few moments of the second half, right in front of all us City fans. Naturally, I am not biased. Blatant penalty!

If you were the resident pedant, then surely the title should commence H.N.Y. and not HNY. I'd be willing to accept the title of Non Mainland Resident Pedant as an olive branch. Great song B.T.W..

Thanks Dave. Did LJ say that to Luke though because of the Cheltenham photo ie he was told to get someone to replace LA? -

Another great thread that has totally gone off track from the op! I'm about to continue with the off track bit and suggest that the trouble for BCFC on the pitch started when the players went to the races. The photo of Luke Ayling laughing had it gone to court, would have been thrown out. Laughing at what? Have we ever been told the truth as to why Luke left for Leeds? What a bargain they got and look at us now. -
What happened was John had tried to attack on the wing but was knackered. He had just about recovered and was about to run back when this photo was taken. I thought he was great for us btw

Anyone used Thatcher's Gold to cook the Christmas Ham in?

Have just used the stock to boil the linguine. Wow! -
Not that they ever had a photo for the final question on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, but if they did and this was it and I was on the show.... I would gamble and go for the £1m saying that the player looking over his left shoulder is Alan Walsh. PS I'd also say it was John Bailey nearest the ref.

It goes back to the awful take over by Kraft. Worth Googling.

I'm still boycotting Cadbury products so it'll have to be celebrations for me.

Well, I've just tasted the ham. It'll be resting in tin foil for another 45 mins... just because. However, I couldn't resist having a little chunk. Sensational. The Thatcher's cuts through but doesn't overpower the ham. A stunning success. Next time I'll find a smaller pot which means less Thatcher's needed! -
