Much better from City, but Leicester look dangerous

Excellent. See you next season Taylor.
You’re being a little optimistic, aren’t you?

I fear there may well be chants of ‘He doesn’t know what he’s doing’ should we go behind

Why has Mebude changed his name? Do they think we won’t notice who Awokoye is?

One of the few good things about this club in 2024 is Otib
And that is rather sad when it would be nice to be able to point to real and exciting talent on the field, but we sell that talent asap.- 1

I can see us getting something out of this one, on the basis that we seem to up our game against the better teams.
There will then be another reprieve for The Manningbot Artificial Unitelligence, possibly a mural, open top bus tour and commemorative kit.
Definitely commemorative kit, and probably a walk around the ground

There will be buyers, so long as the (currently) awful football club comes with a ground and training ground and doesn’t include an awful rugby team, awful women’s team, basketball team (presumably awful I pay no attention to them), awful manager, awful tech director, awful media department etc etc….
Hmmmmn we could have a big problemo. The ground is an issue, I agree, the rest can go along with BS

Imagine if the Lansdowns took your advise and just packed their bags and said that’s us we’re off. WTF would we do then? Are we all going chip in to pay the £20 or £30 million debt every year?
Please don’t raise my hopes.
Nothing will improve until the Lansdowns go. Period. They have had their extended chance and blown it.
Of course there will be a buyer(s), after all doesn’t everyone say we are a sleeping giant.

Oh dear. How have we come to this? Well we know that answer; yet it remains hard to take after Nige injected hope based on experience and actions
Like so many, deeply upset the way City are currently managed (?) both on and off the pitch. How can a football club in this league land up with such incompetents? Two of whom seem to find difficulty in speaking coherently.

Idehen now playing far better

Yeboah now on for Bath

Anyone see anything in Idehen to show he is anywhere near Championship standard?
-
Surely there is someone better than Chilwell. An awful half by him
-
Lemonheigh Evans looking poor

Any intelligence at top of City, whether real or AI would be most welcome

Article in a newspaper today that AI can manage sports teams better than humans can.
Who programmes AI and why ain't he snapped up by one of thee top clubs?
Obviously a job for BT

Really is an echo chamber on here and doesn't reflect the view of an average fan. How has it come to losing a few games meaning you need to be sacked!? Would you have all sacked fergie in his early United days?
It is not the losing of games.
Rather it is
1. The failure to achieve this season what he was appointed to achieve
2. The hurtling down the league
3. Manning’s inane interviews and blaming the players
4. The way we’ve dropped points with the players half the men they were under Nige
5. The mismanagement during matches
6. The dire no entertainment football
Etc etc
He simply as many agree well beyond his comfort zone. There is, imo, no chance of him improving at this level, let alone the level we aspire to

I am afraid the truth is simple, as many have said. Manning clearly isn’t good enough. He must go and go asap. SL must just accept they made a mistake. No shame in that. Remember, SL, it is always the cover up that gets you in the end.

That alone would have been enough for me to reject him at interview

Post to this effect has been made already too, but I've switched off emotion towards City as well. I didn't even watch today. Saw we went two-nil down and put my phone back in my pocket and carried on with my day.
I'm actually more alarmed at how little this has mattered to me. Liam Manning's style and persona is everything wrong with modern football, it's devoid of life and boring as ****.
"I'll ******* bounce when we win something", wonder if I'll be able to take my pension by then.
I expect to be dead by then!

No chance is manning getting a war chest, didn't you hear tinions interview on Monday? He said we will only be signing some unknown foreign striker and maybe a goal keeper this summer and he hopes players like palmer houlden, knight label, stokes, Murphy can be our saviours.
He might just as well have said we are looking forward to being back in L1

Ok, (i know i'm stupid) i'm going to respond.
Results and performances under Manning have been VERY mixed, but if we're all being honest, it was no different during Nige's 3 years in charge.
I have no idea how things are going to pan out under Manning but he deserves a summer to recruit some of his own players. If after 15 games next season there is no obvious improvement then questions can be asked, but give the guy a f****** chance!
He has been on the back foot with many fans since day one, but he's trying his best and deserves our support. Lets get behind the team and support the football club, and not individuals.
One word in response. RUBBISH

Of course he must go. Sadly none of us, or the players, will have a vote.
I am beginning to come to the view he is the worst manager in my over 70 years of being a City fan
