Tinman is a Legend but I wouldn't trust him with signings
Or scouting, or pr, or in fact anything frankly.
He has had his day and has failed to move with the times. He seems like a throwback to ann older era.

Does he know nothing about management? Working 7to 7 is nothing to boast about. Evidence suggests a better life balance leads to better management. There is nothing meritorious in working long hours per se.
Just get a grip, get organised, learn to delegate, and for goodness sake tackle the job with genuine enthusiasm, and enthuse players and fans alike. Oh, and stop putting the blame on others. The buck stops with you.

Frankly I will be pleased with one point from that list as I believe under Manning we are more likely to get zero points

He’s not getting on the pitch again, is he?
What a January signing he was.
Very City !

Under manning we look like a league 1 side. Their commentary made me laugh when they said we look clueless to what our game plan is. The club can stick their extra 40 quid up their ass next season.
That assumes the players knew what the game plan was - oh and that Mannimg did too.

On what basis can this be true?
On the basis of Nige’s better record with thinner squad.

We don’t have meaning under manning
We don’t have anything other than despair under Manning

Ironic isn’t it? We sack a manager because he has failed in the eyes of the super twins, and yet the points achieved under said manager will save us from relegation. Think somehow the twins got it all the wrong way round.

Poor poor goal to give away
Very much doubt we can get back in this.

I’m going to order the special edition DVD…
One day Cornick’s 3rd will be spoken about in the same way as Tinnion at Anfield
Well thank goodness I won’t be around for the parade round the pitch in 25 years time

Max is not good enough, should of been sorted last summer
Agreed. And We really need a goal scorer.

Formation was kept, tackling was hard, helping teammates good, just one lapse and all the good is cancelled out. Personally think Conway should have done better with his chance
Hey Ho on to tighter and more penetrative playin second 45.

Looking forward to seeing how well coached we look after almost a full weeks training.
We will in all likelihood look confused!

Put simply, what a mess we are in and no sign of a plan to get us out of it.

Tinnion interview
It matters not that he has been here 30 years, or that Manning is trying really really hard.
What matters is that they know what they are doing.
Personally I remain unconvinced

I was hoping to make the long and very expensive journey to AshtonGate towards the end of the season to make sure I saw a Nige game, before his possible retirement.
Sadly, will now not be wasting time and money in coming.
Football is in the entertainment business, win or lose. As reported by those there today, we are far short of playing in a way that might encourage me to come.

Front foot reminds me of my favourite Terry Bush story.
City are attacking and Bush has the ball
He should shoot but doesn’t. A fan shouts out put it on your left foot
Another fan shouts in reply, Bush still hesitating, he’s trying to work out which is his left foot.
I think the current players are trying to work out which is their front foot

A win is a win
Three points nearer safety
But Manning remains Manning
And that remains a huge problem

I’m going for “momentum shift”
Perhaps behaviour shift at halftime, ie players decide to take matters into their own hands and ignore head Coach

According to the presser he didn’t train last week and considering the time out he has to be fit for the bench at best.
All very odd, do I see the hand of Tinnion in this?

I do wonder what the interview selection process looked like.
Did they ask Manning what his tactical approach would be? Did they ask him what timescale he thought it would take to get the team to change? Did they ask him what Plan B was in the middle of a game if the team was struggling? Did they ask him his policy re the bench and blooding youngsters? Did they talk to the club captain about the new tactical approach and ask him about possible players’ reactions and timescale for adaptation? Did they ask King re new approaches to coaching, given that he is both in first team squad and on coaching side of things? Finally, I wonder when was the last time JL and BT did any training re interview techniques and good practice.

In hindsight they weren’t great but you’re absolutely right, Bridges and Stewart were exciting signings for L1 given their pedigrees.
No, it should have been seen that Bridges and Stewart were well down the wrong side of the hill.

Who on earth would give him money to spend or BT for that matter.
