Think it’s worth waiting to see what the squad looks like at the start of next season before setting your stall out. We still have costs still to cut, we have high earners who it won’t be easy to move on. If we can shift the right players and recruit smartly, then I agree…but that’s a huge “if” sitting here today.
Yeah i get all that - but this season, with some decent defenders, we have been very easy to score against. Regardless of who we bring in, i wanna see improvement in that area - i want us to become more gritty and difficult to play against. With the defenders he has now and has the option to keep, plus a couple more, i feel like he should be able to achieve at least that.

All about how we start next season. If we are not top half after 10-15 games, i think it will be time for a change.
I've wrote off this season, but we should expect to see more progress, specifically becoming more difficult to beat, early next season.
Otherwise, it will be too long without any real progress

I'd give him another 2 years and see how he gets on.

Sean Dyche was rubbish for us.
Harry Maguire, however, has never let England down!

The Yespay platform is a disaster @Davefevs and good luck to City in getting an answer from Worldpay about it, I've told them multiple times for years, even had acknowledgement (no fixes).
As you say this issue is new but if people are desperate to go to Stoke just buy one or two tickets at a time - assuming you're not done too many "low value" purchases since your last authentication, they will all go through without need to authenticate.
Will give that a go!

Just tried to purchase tickets for stoke away and it would not work.
Rang up and the club said theres an issue with their payment system - they cant take any 2 step authorisation
So i dont think anyone can buy tickets at the moment. Ridiculous.

Hopefully he will adopt these tactics , I think he might get sparked though in the process
Usyk isnt a particularly big puncher tho is he?
I do see scenario where he can finish AJ - but out of tiredness, rather than a big punch.

I started to watch Top Boy yesterday and pretty quickly couldn’t understand a word they were saying. Sub titles would have helped………..

Disappointing if true for two reasons -
1) I have massive respect for the men defending their country.
2) He doesn’t need to train, he could beat that bum AJ in his sleep .
Could not disagree more. He fought the completely wrong tactics last time out. He tried to out-box a master boxer.
Needs to revert to the old AJ. Forget about boxing - use his size. bully Usyk, rough him up and throw hard punches only
When he hurts him, finish him.

It’s a boxing wide issue too. After the first GGG/Canelo fight nothing was done.. after the first Wilder/Fury fight nothing was done.. nothing is ever done about it.
Maybe they should have 5 judges and the two outliners are removed?
Think you’ll still get it.
Think the only way you stop it, is by punishing judges… but that’s also hard because it’s subjective - the judges could claim they liked the fact that Taylor was being aggressive, for example. -
They will do what they usually do.
Speak to the judges. The judges will say, they thought josh taylor won the fight.
The British Board of Control will come out and say they are satisfied after speaking to the judges.
Case closed.

I'm guessing he's contracted to attend them so he will no doubt take a hit in some form.
He has to attend. But he does not have to speak

Fury only got 20% when he fought Vlad. He needs to stop moaning he will get smashed anyway.
He's not moaning. He's just not doing press and who can blame him.

Why?
Because hes been shafted. Interim champion is entitled to something like 40-45%
He's only getting 20%

Bigger picture...you let these little 'herberts' keep running on the pitch now, they will think its even more fun in 10 years time when they're beered or coked up. Keep off the pitch means Everyone not just those over a certain age.
Based on what exactly?

Have to say Dan Bentleys tweet after Saturday's game when he said something like "this is what football is all about" when a child ran on the pitch to get his shirt, was completely irresponsible.
I don't know what's going on with him, he's already got into trouble with Pearson and been dropped, and it's like he's spoiling for another fight with the club.
City need to sort this out because, quite simply, it sends out a bad precedent.
Jeez. Relax. It IS what footballs all about.

The Khan-Brook fight went exactly, how i thought it would go for the last 8 years.
Dont understand why so many picked khan. Brook was always, all wrong for khan.
-
The referee has got it right.
But its slightly unfair, because the player is unaware he's on a yellow and maybe wouldnt have commited the foul if he had known he was.

Enjoy this must watch

Loved Albert.
He's only played two games in the prem - but i always thought he would end up a decent premier league player. Surprised its not worked out that way.
Always wanted him to come back too. Ah well.
Enjoyed the season he was with us. He literally carried that team.
