Number 15 on the Millwall bench Joe Bryan. Hope he gets a good welcome if he comes on. But hope its not him with a last minute winner. I will go with a very tight 1-0 to us.

I think city will score 3 today hopefully a couple from Conway as apert from the Rotherham game he hasn't really shown much this  seson so far.

It's a completely unforced error. After 10 points out of 12, no one was looking to go over this old ground again. They have brought it on themselves and revealed a totally unnecessary pettiness, vindictiveness, and lack of class. They are going out of their way to show themselves in a bad light when there is absolutely no need to.

Oh well, let us be grateful for small mercies. Stalin used to airbrush out of photos those colleagues whom he had had murdered. At least the regime has not sunk that far......................................

Then why keep going  over it again and again. Who really cares in fact one person I highly doubt gives a stuff whether his photo is included or not and that's Nigel Pearson he's probably moved on like some on this forum should.

I’d like to know why , not having a dig but tbf to city with or without Nige we are in most games and recently tend to miss chances that could put us ahead and set us up , lately it’s more a case of missing these chances and it costing us with us then fighting back to snatch a draw or other team holding on , not many teams put us to the sword ( god why did I just say that )

Wow there is somebody else who has noticed thet City are playing some decent stuff but sadly are constantly missing chances which are being created far more than previously, every game the shots on goal are in double figures if we had taken just half of those chances Southampton Norwich and Blackburn would not have been losses. Things are not remotely as grim as some would like to suggest or  dare I say want them to be.

Without wishing to turn this too political, the BBC has had its funding cut by a third in the past decade. It’s got no option but to dump some of its traditional output.

Needs to have the other 2/3's cut and let it sink. Going to ASDA later but happy to pay Tesco and Sainsbury's etc  as well because i'm using the services of  a grocery store so must pay for them as well completely fair and just.Trying to think of anything else you don't use but still have to pay for or more accurately forced to pay for.

22,000 at home every week for a team paying premier league ticket prices to see a team that’s never played in the PL, hasn’t played in the top flight in over 40 years, and have never won a major trophy, what other group of fans can say the same?

They are the most  fickle and negative fans anywhere. One person has just posted( and there are many more similat posts as you've probably seen)we've got no attack so the defence will have to keep us from avoiding relegation. That's after 1 game under a new manager and about a month ago after Rotherham they were regarding Tommy Conway as the next Alan Shearer. As I said the  worst sometimes wonder why they bother.

It's not bizarre mate. (as I am aware you know).

Lying ****s. The lot of them.

    SELL UP AND **** OFF.

Give it a rest and move on  they obviously  didn't have confidence in Nigel Pearson to progress the team beyond mid-table and given the performances and results over the last 3 years that's not an outlandish conclusion.

    We played well at Leeds.

We went to Leicester with a steadily rising injury list to which we added Vyner pre game.

Burnley at home last sesson, 2nd half we were excellent we matched them very well.

Watford at home just before the World Cup break, Parachute bolstered Watford Sarr and Pedro, we outplayed. We should've won.

Middlesbrough over Easter, possibly should have won. From 2 up yes. Enjoyable match and display anyway.

The performance against Leicester this season was shocking like frightened little boys. The facts are City finished 17th & 14th under Nigel Pearson the football was mediocre most of the time and given the way the team have played agaiin so far(even without the injuries) this seaon the likelihood would have been a similiar league finish.I wish him well but the e reaction over the last week is simply ridiculous and is not IMO about Nigel Pearson particularly as the reality does not suggest the last 3 years was anything but mediocre the perfect word to describe Nigel's tenure.

    Yes, progression.

Prior to that we went a season with the lowest amount of attempts on goal in the division's history.

The home form has been pretty dreadful and we seldom compete against the teams at the top be it  Leicester this season or Burnley last season the tactic is park the bus and keep the score down.We do not and haven't looked like a team that are genuinely going to be in and around the top 6 during the last 3 years.

It's ironic isn't it. This is the one time that an internal appointment would make the most sense to continue the progression but nope. Obviously the geniuses at the top have decided we need to change everything yet again

Progression? The performances  by and large and certainly  the results  have  been mediocre for 3 years.

From what Tinnion said, I honestly don’t think he was coming up with much different to what we were trying to do. You put Alex Scott in our team this season it’s hugely different. Players make systems, not the other way around (generally speaking).

Alex Scott was in the team for the last two seasons finished 17th and 14th currently 15th not too much difference.

From many  of the comments on here over the last 48 Hrs you would think the club were replacing Sir Alex Ferguson  let's get real it wasn't a catastrophe under Nigel Pearson but it was far from great mediocre would best describe the last almost 3 years.

They don’t JUST bankroll a business losing £300k per week ! They RUN a business losing £300k a week ! It’s down to them ! Why do so many Lansdown supporters constantly disassociate them from the losses ? There’s just no logic to that !

In 20/21 you may recall the stadium was closed to the public therefore any revenue was severely reduced but the salaries which you would estimate run into £millions each month and the operating costs still have to be paid that may explain why the loses have ben so high quite logical really
