  1. We know this side can do better. Here's hoping the second half is better.
  2. Like a few of us were saying in the stoke thread the quality of the championship officials seems to be woeful, if the ref didn't see that the linesman should have. They have been beating us up for the best part of the first half. And only 1 yellow and a couple of fouls given.
  3. This game is going to be slow and painful. Rotherham are bypassing the midfield and turning it into a horrible scrappy game. It's ******* gross.
  4. Not in the championship no, standards of officials are terrible.
  5. There was so much wrong with that game I flipped and watched Oxford Utd. First red was 50/50, Disallowed goal was stupid, the second red was based on some fairly light touch yellows. VAR is a shambles I just lost interest in watching. Turned out to be a cracking game I missed but ah well.
  6. We were top six until the defensive slip ups. We will see where we are after the Rotherham game that will be the first block of 10. Baring any disasters we should be top 10, then with Conway on his way back and a few others we should look a much more robust side. I still think Naismith is best in a holding midfield role, he creates more and provides and effective shield for then defence. So let's see how things pan out as players come back. Don't panic.
  7. I'm hoping he's young enough to recover well. But yes you do worry he might not be quite the same player that he looked to be.
  8. Indeed, many ways this can back fire, including the striker not being as quick as Kyle Walker and getting laughed off the pitch.
  9. In theory it's pointless as the outfield player has to A) get there before any opposition players. And B) the ball is closer to the keeper. Which means once the element of suprise is gone there is less chance to score than had the penalty taker taken it properly. Looks good when it works though.
  10. I'm willing him to score, I think once he gets going.
  11. I want to see his relative stats for the game he's a running machine.
  12. He must be running +40% more metres than his team mates he's all over the pitch.
  13. SL is succession planning he's 71. Not sure this Phil Alexander thing is anything to do with that or not. Either way people will speculate because of the fairly brief explanation. Very odd.
  14. Don't think there is anything in this, unless he's suddenly become gravely ill.
  15. Knock the south stand down, and put the wedlock back.
  16. Heinz ketchup yes, mayo no. Polish mayo all day long.
