Did Ian Gay have his one-to-one with Brian like he alluded to last week? Only for Dave P to call him out that it wasn’t that, but just that Tins was speaking to Senior Reds!
Anything else you can tell us “young-uns”?
Well Ian did get in the first round of questions , I thought Tins dealt with them very diplomatically, answered in full and gave nothing away
Tins hinted that if Alex goes it will be for more than the sum presently being talked about. But who knows
Said 3 or 4 likely to be incoming, young pacy talent from the lower leagues will be the targets. Not looking at any older experienced targets.
Unlikely to add another GK.
And didn't not make any comments about players leaving, apart from Alex, (for big money it seems.)
Also confirmed plenty of promising talent coming up through the academy, several of whom are already training with the first team.
Said NP very keen on giving academy players every chance of breaking into the first team if they are good enough. Not keen on loans as it's merely developing players for other clubs to profit from, as Chelsea did with Tammy.

Tinman, guest speaker at Senior Reds today, seemed to be of the opinion that Bournemouth staying up would be of financial benefit to us.

Let's be fair, Mehmeti has done nothing for weeks. Conway has been injured and Sykes just back from a suspension.
Mehmeti seems to have lost the ability/confidence to get past his marker.
He looked on fire when he first joined us.

We've definitely improved, but still a long way from being a real threat. Too wasteful in the final third

I was gutted to miss this one. I had been to the majority of away games that season, but having just been to up to Deepdale on the Saturday, I followed the "advice" from my dearest and was persuaded not to make another long journey.
I was obviously delighted about the result, but less so about not being there!

Well it's quite obvious the club have little way of distinguishing between those who "need" and those who "want".
I think we can rest assured that Curtis Fleming won't be doing dawn raids and Jon Lansdown won't be interviewing fans under caution.
If they only issue cards for a fee then I suspect many of the "want" category will have second thoughts.
More controversy over shirts and season cards than the football!
for a win or draw tonight.

The Swansea game was a ball ache but if it’s a case of the club sending one QR code for the entire season, I can’t see how that’s going to be any more faff than remembering to pick up your season ticket on match day.
Always got my season card with me. It's in my smartphone wallet

The club have already said there will be a physical card as well for those who need it.
I know, but "need" or "want"?
I would prefer the certainty of a physical card. I don't have unreserved faith in the digital system working 100% without fail 100% of the time.
It was only recently, for one of the cup games that the system wasn't working and for some, hand written tickets were being issued

Not for those who don't have a smartphone and will never get a smartphone it won't...........like my Uncle. If that was the ultimatum he wouldn't go any longer, it's that simple. The club need to be aware of that and not drive those supporters out.
Chap I sit next to at Senior Reds doesn't have a mobile of any sort, yet goes to every game, home and away. Must have spent many thousands following City over the years. I don't suppose that he is the only one. So a physical card must be available for those who want/need it.

Watched it back this afternoon when I got home. Nice to view it from the opposite side of the pitch
Well earned victory, 2 cracking goals and Alex Scott is immense. For me it's much more apparent watching on the Tele just how much he runs our games. And Mehmeti should definitely have been awarded a penalty.
Great team performance
Please stay for one more year Alex

A less-than-ideal defensive midfield pairing, but the only sensible thing that can happen assuming James, Williams and Naismith are all unavailable.
Indeed as playing him there could easily lead to Alex getting booked

League position doesn't lie. We are top of the bottom half of the championship
And I'm quite happy with that

Could easily have won this 0-3 …chances not taken
FT 0-0
And could have just as easily lost it.
A lucky point in my view, given that we find it incredibly difficult to score.
Oh well a point nearer safety

Since we broke our penalty drought we haven’t scored in open play!
It’s not going to be 439 more days is it?
We're now totally reliant on penalties

I just hope we don't regret not taking at least one of those chances we had

Yes. Sykes played the majority of his time at Oxford in a central role until last season.

Perhaps I should have added "unless the need arises"
Tins gave the impression that adding another GK was not something they were looking at.
NP and the coaching staff know best, I guess
