Usually the highlight of the summer for me. But with Cav not being selected by Quickstep, I have lost a lot of interest. I was hopeful he might get the record breaking 35th win.

The dominance of Pogacar, although impressive, is a negative in my view. At best most GC contenders will only be ridding for a podium place.

Barring a mishap I can't see anyone getting the better of him.

I will still be watching though, because you never know!

Surprised you didn't mention the Guildford Hotel in Swan Valley.

Amazing refurbishment retaining some of the chared remains from the fire that destroyed it. Certainly worth a visit for anyone visiting Perth.

I was 3 when my parents first took me. They used to stand at the front, by the railings in the old East End.

At that time I used to take a tennis ball and other toys to play with in the walkway behind them because I didn't watch the game very much and would get bored.

That was 70 years ago.

Manics finished at 7.50pm, Killers stuck to the 8.45pm scheduled start though; if Manics had started at the publicised time of 7.30pm, Killers wouldn't have come in till 9.15pm and then finished at 10.55pm. That would have played havoc with people's buses, trains, curfews (?).....

There were several sound checks going on from around 6.30, and I wasn't really paying much attention to the stage when the utterly brilliant Motorcycle Emptiness began.

The knock on effect meant that there was an overly long wait after they finished to the Killers starting.

That was a quality goal. Need 2 more in the second half

Always good to see them again after the game. When you're there it all happens so quickly. I thought Andi was well offside for the 5th, but clearly not

Very good win, NP has finally got us playing as a team. Plenty of work still to do, but I am more hopeful of seeing us make some decent progress next season.

It might help if we didn't give it away so cheaply around the edge of their penalty area when we are trying to attack.
