Sad day! He was doing such a fine job!
Indeed.
As City fans should we be carrying him shoulder high down Gloucester Rd?

Reality is, both Holloway or Cotts would take the job - jobs are limited and the pool of candidates quite high.
It'll be 70k a year, with a bonus for keeping them up, roll on next summer and they won't have the support they thought they would and cracks will start to show.
Just can't imagine either of them working in such a restricted environment.
I reckon that considering Cotts is only about half way through his 2.5 year Brum contract, reportedly £450k pa, (unless Brum paid it up), I think it would take more than £70k pa to tempt him to rag ass rovers. Not that I would imagine he would be remotely interested.

I was also thinking that if we ever made it to the Prem, we should be able to beat Man City, Utd, Liverpool etc, but would obviously have to put up with Cardiff beating us.
Ha! No chance with the present incumbent.

Sorry if I missed it on another thread, but I heard a week or so ago that our record against teams in the top half of the table was the second best in the league. Against teams in the lower half of the table we were second worst.
We need to figure out how to beat these 'lesser' teams. An natural goal scorer would be a start.
This is obviously a master stroke from our highly regarded up and coming head coach. If we do better against teams above us then the sooner we plummet the better. If we get everyone above us we should be able to beat them all.

Were called the gas because of the proximity to the old gasworks to Eastville.
Now need a slight name change to the gaz.
As in gazebo.

There’ll be a good reason. We just don’t what it is yet............
Just a misunderstanding, I expect some of the players were told to spend more time with the first team coach, and the rest instructed to train more.

You are correct and of course LJ must be shitting himself because this is one of the last games he would have chosen after our long poor run and poor start to the season.
Indeed, much better playing a lowly league one team at home.
Oh hang on.....

Oh I know, just thought it was funny you were calling him clueless for thinking Jamie was called Callum Paterson and our manager is Gary Johnson...then you spelled his name incorrectly - ignore me, I’m easily amused! Apologies...
You obviously have an "i" for these things.

Good finish by Callum Paterson?
Also, earlier, mentioned Gary Johnson as being the manager!

Ian Dowie is clueless.

Yellow for Wright, could have been a red!
Could well have been according to Sky match reporter!

Been a good season, but getting fed up with opposition chant "(insert appropriate number) nil and you f*cked it up" etc.

I`m the same, nervous as a kitten. I`m never like this at AG.
Sweaty palms already and I'm only watching a bit of the Spurs game!

I have no idea why, but I get a lot more nervous about watching us on TV than at the game.

They seem to really be in a financial mess, and it's obviously getting worse.
It may come down to passing round the collection bucket to save them. My problem would be deciding how much to take out.

Great result, if not performance. But this time we made our numerical advantage count, something we have rarely done in the past. We are grinding out results, sign of a successful team.

K.O. 1.30 am Sunday, W.A. time.
Hope I wake up to a win.

Another excellent result. Impressive!

Rich considering Garner (who has always been a complete arse of a man) should have got hooked.
Presume you meant booked, I thought he did towards the end of the game for crashing into Flint or Baker?

Watched it in Lanzarote on the live stream suggested. Excellent performance and great result. We were a bit wasteful at times and with a bit more composure could have embarrassed them! But a great result to keep the run going.

Anybody else think COD has replaced Freeman as the player who runs a lot, works hard, but has questionable end product?
Not for me, COD has nowhere near LF's ability.
He's doing well at QPR, scored again tonight.

You can strike off Downend & Mangotsfield, having lived a good chunk of my many years in them, my experience confirms the " blue few".
Few being the key word.
