And did they share the details of how any deal would be structured? Did they say the £25m would be guaranteed ?
Of course not. But I would be surprised if he went for less than that amount in total, even if it consists of several elements to the deal.
Personally I'm rather hoping he stays.

Er no. But again, no-one has said that it has to be guaranteed. We are ASKING for £25m.
Both Tins and SL, when guests at different Senior Reds lunches last season, said that he won't be going for less than £25mill

All offers below £25m re-fused

Pog's lack of racing and preparation since crashing out of La Doyenne has done for him in the third week.
Great TdF nevertheless

Amazing performance. No one saw that coming.
JV's to lose now.

Time trial next I think?
Could that make a difference.
I doubt it. Only 22kms, just under 14 mls
I would guess that it will only be seconds either way who ever comes out on top.
What a contest, amazing that they are so closely matched
Brilliant to watch

This could go all the way to the Champs Elysees!

Chris was one of my favourite players to watch and scored some cracking goals.
Early 70s he accidentally stood on my wife to be's foot in Raquel's night club in Frogmore St.
She was a bit miffed, and I was quite chuffed
Sad loss RIP

While that's true Mercxx remains the best of all time. He competed in pretty much everything and didn't just beat his opponents but often mullered them including winning mountain top finishes. A true GC rider.
True, but unlike Cav, tested positive for banned substances on more than one occasion.

Wonderful tributes from the peleton for Cav with great words from Pedersen, Pogacar and Vingegaard and true respect and a welcome back anytime from Prudhomme. Perhaps the best though was from the great Ralf Aldag who while expressing his sadness reminded us that his achievements could not be diminished. As he said if he'd won a 35th stage would he be regarded as the greatest bike rider of all time, probably not. Does his 34 stage wins make him the best sprinter of all time, yes.
And several of Mercxx's wins were prologues and TTs. Only Cav has won 34 full length TdF race stages.

G. O. A. T. Sprinter.
Such a desperately sad way to end a fantastic career.

Email from VM yesterday evening to say it's all now restored. Thankfully it was for me, hope everyone else's EM is now sorted.

Survey suggest wanting feedback, to gauge reasons.
Rather than an application per se.
Although proof of the pudding…..
Online survey?
Several older attendees at senior Reds don't do mobile phones and certainly not smart phones and have no access to the internet.
Hopefully get some help from family/friends.

Not connected, I think you may just get a seat if you are REALLY lucky though
I just about managed to get a seat for last season's similar fixture v Lincoln.
I can assure you that was REALLY unlucky.

Calm down I'm sure you'll get a seat.....
I'm very calm and not in the least bit surprised.
Also not concerned about getting a ticket.I expect that there will be over 15000 to choose from on the day.

Luis Leon Sanchez is out, So whatever lead-out his team might offer is reduced. Cav's going to have jump onto other lead outs if he's going to get that elusive win.
From Cycling news: "Although Sánchez was classified in last place on the stage, it immediately seemed unlikely that he would be able to continue in the Tour, and later in the evening his Astana-Qazaqstan team confirmed that he had broken his collarbone and would return home to Spain for an operation."

If there is an app I guess it will be loaded to that, failing that it’ll be just like previous years where you buy it and either download it on to your phone, this is what I did for the FA cup last season, or print it.
You're probably right, just a bit of a puzzle how it works for my grandson. Oh well it will no doubt be sorted and working perfectly
