  1. Not really. The table reflects how teams do when playing against each other. They've all looked pretty tidy playing against us, in my view. Even when we win we don't look very convincing, and in most games the last 15mins or so resembles Custer's last stand!
  2. Having been at the 'Gate for all home fixtures, and on VPN travel for most away games it appears to me the other 23 teams look better than us. We've not dominated significantly in one single game. I thought the best we looked was Preston away, and even there we did our customary last minute capitulation.
  3. For me, without a doubt 1977 last game of the season, Coventry 2-2. You had to be there, amazing scenes at full time. And both sets of fans ecstatic. It felt better than getting promotion the previous season. And the number of us away supporters was unbelievable.
  4. If it wasn't for the fact that SL appointed his dad as manager he would never have played for us nor have been ridiculously given the head coach job. Lansdown's folly.
  5. Hi, can't locate her number at the moment, but email is I think pam_day5@btinternet.com
  6. I'm halfway through it at the moment. It's ok, a little bit like the various Fargo offerings imv, but not as quirky or compelling. Nevertheless it's quite entertaining so I'll stick with it to the end.
  7. on 10 Play according to my son in Perth
  8. Seems a clear lesson that 1. In future when our player is injured and needs attention, put it into touch as far up the pitch as possible, and 2. When we are supposed to return the ball to the opposition, don't. Instead launch a goal scoring attack. ?
  9. Stop making poultry complaints!
  10. Me too. I wondered what the ref was doing. Which pretty much sums up the whole game.
  11. It was infront of us in the Dolman. Albert seemed, at first, trying to get a teammate to accept the ball from the throw in, who would then knock it back to us. No QPR players seemed interested, so he appeared to give up and throw it down the line setting up an attack. The eventual result of which was their second goal. Surprised and disappointed that he didn't just throw it to a City player.
  12. Nah. We definitely knocked it out of play when Semenyo went down holding his leg. Our misplaced passes go to the opposition, not into touch.?
  13. I'm surprised Adomah is not getting a shed load of abuse. Grade A **** in my book. He should have thrown the ball back to us, as is the accepted and expected restart when the ball is put it out for an injured player. (When Semenyo was injured.) But no, he throws it down the line to a QPR team-mate, setting up the play which led to the corner and their goal.
  14. I agree. We've been over many times but never mid summer/Christmas time. Mrs FR doesn't like it scorchio! It is exceptionally hot in Perth this year at Christmas time. But no chance of going these days anyway! ?
  15. My son in Perth tells me high temps tomorrow will be around 42/43C, with overnight around 30C I think our weather is more comfortable! Happy Christmas ?

    SPOTY

No Cav? Despite suffering for years and eventually finally overcoming a debilitating illness. He then virtually self funds himself to get back into the team he feels most at home with. Then through self belief, dedication and determination, gets back to his winning ways and equals the all time record for TDF stage wins, and takes the Green Jersey as well, but this is not on enough to be on the list. ?
