  1. Had sympathy for blackpool fans when they had issues with the old owners but have this mentality like rovers that they are massive.

Some salty comments about our ground being too big for us

Despite our attendances being 7th best in the league and our % attendance compared to capacity being higher than their poxy shithole

I wonder what their attendance will be next season in league 1?

    Good summary.

Interesting that Pearson said afterwards he didn’t expect King to last the 90 but “he had to”, which suggests to me he thought this wasn’t the right time & place to bring on Taylor-Clarke for a league debut.

Going to have to use him soon, possibly on Saturday.

Is there a possible recall option for Kadji? Seen that hes been in a fee starting lineups for them.

I think a striker will be high on the shopping list for the summer personally

So Tinman said we are looking at 3 or 4 players in summer and that number worried me. Not sure whether he meant on top of the replacements needed for players such as Kalas, King, Dasilva, Scott all of which had good games tonight.

IMO with the four names above gone we need their positions replaced and another centre half and a more explosive winger/forward option than what we already have. It may be we need to look at Kadji replacing Williams long term but but if not we need another body there too .

We need a Micheal Smith type IMO.

Pearson said a while back that the top sides in championship don't utilise that sort of player. When you look over the last couple of seasons I can't think of many.

Yea it’s a bit of a simplification I realise ? for the record a point tonight is just fine with me. A patched up team against a Neil team - no mean feat.

Yeah i know a bit pedantic of me and i expected better from a NW side.

We have an enraging habit of our defence and our attack rarely both being good. If we’re finishing our chances we’re leaky. The goals dry up and we tighten up. Is it a play-style thing? Are we playing a more defensive system of late? Or mentality maybe, we do look most vulnerable when we lead.

If we had a habit of having both areas good we would be top 6 I guess!

I have not commented on this thread and having read through the entire thread, I am unable to find a comment even purporting to be from me.  4 of you have been offended by something, but the first I even knew of this thread was a notification.

Either someone has said something under my user name and it has been deleted or something odd is going on.

Can anyone clarify, what I am supposed to have said?

You put a crying face emoji on one of his posts, probably by accident but i took it as its sad that we haven't scored in over 5 games!

Not sure why you deemed my post to be ‘sad’.
I actually started this thread as a bit of a joke, but it’s now turned into more of a slightly concerning observation.
    Not sure why that’s ‘sad’?

    Sorry mate couldn't resist ?.

I said in the match day thread that I dont think throwing Cornick and Annis on together at the same time helps. But then what do I know ?.

Just thought it was an absolutely awful game to watch although for the best part of the game we were much the better side. I struggle to see what Cornick offers us upfront.....

Not sure throwing him on with another newbie is a good idea. Wouldn't mind Pearson staggering the forward subs so that we keep some of that pace up top because Cornick certainly doesn't have it

I can’t believe you get away with posting this shite tbh

Doesn’t make it ok to basically say all Latinos (or anyone who looks or sounds like they might be) are cheats

    Didn't say it did.

How does he come to that conclusion? It was obviously an unprovoked act by a bunch of cowards (who deserved a hiding themselves). But to conclude from that, that "most" of our support as the lowest life in the football leagues is ridiculous.

Are most of his clubs fans now the lowest life in the league due to this incident on the weekend? Of course they are not.

As for the fan that was killed (RIP) - hopefully this will make a few "bullies" think twice.

Thought the same. The whole your rivals are better than you comes out so often in football. Surprised how he can remember what noises sets of fans make over others in similar situations (Promotion, relegation) I certainly can't!

We could say fact is PNE have a bigger home and away following. Actually a fact btw...

For all the dialogue on this forum reminiscing about the terrace culture of old, "running" other fans, taking home ends etc perhaps worth just considering.... Smacking another football fan for loving a team other than yours is a bit weird isn't it. Not big, not clever, not hard. Just wrong.

Agreed. Cringey as **** when you see people talking about it like its some military operation. Every club has them and they are losers. Hope they come down hard on the suspect.

Yep Portuguese descent but not people born in Portugal. The issue really is just the "Cheating = Latino" mindset.

Fernandes was absolutely disgraceful mind, just looked and he somehow didn't pick up a yellow yesterday!

Yeah i couldn't believe his attitude and body language. The game really needs to look at retrospective action on players for bringing the game into disrepute. Grabbing his face like that was absolutely pathetic. Id be so embarrassed if that was my player.

You REALLY need to learn the definition of Latino. I have seen you post similar numerous times, I'm assuming it is borne of ignorance rather than prejudice but it's not a good look.

In all fairness there are many different definitions for Latino, some broader than others and some include portugese descent.

Personally thought G Nev had lost his head for a few minutes. Must hurt seeing his team lose 7-0 to his most despised team though.

I f****** hated their Fergie era

Yeah he did but they were being pretty condescending If it wad the other way around the reaction would of been worse. As i said not sure what point they were trying to make he answered tueir questions several times.

Hes right in saying a 7-0 defeat is a freak result especially so high up the pyramid. That wasn't enough for the pool boys to hear. Man Utd have been doing very well recently, these are all facts. I guess his refusal to give credit to Liverpool set the tone.
