15th now.
When we include results since Manning took charge, Plymouth, QPR and Sheffield Wednesday although below us in the current League table, have all accrued more points than us from QPR away to present.
Manning has us joint 18th since he took charge basically. We are above Millwall and Huddersfield on GD I think.
I’m sure if they get relegated they will be performing higher than us in a couple of seasons

To think I'm wasting yet another evening wanting other teams to lose. Story of many a year in many a decade. Sick of it.
Well I got so bored I was checking some stats, our average finish in our last 15 championship seasons is 15th and it’s even worse in our last 10 season I reckon 17th.

Can’t help but be pissed off looking at the table again. Cardiff, Preston up there again outside playoffs spending a fraction of what we have even just the past two seasons.
I know this has gone round the buoy dozens of times but just when I thought we would be able to start competing at the top end we take a complete U-turn. Fair play to QPR though I thought for sure they were nailed on for the drop but flying at the moment.

Burns has absolutely ruined Pring tonight ...
Always had potential, just had to wait 4 years after us to find it.

3-2 down, Mebude remains on the bench. Him and Twine have to go down as two of the most pointless signings ever.
Diony and Kent were pretty shite mind

No, we have been beaten by a better side. Where we have struggled, as we did against Leeds, was playing against pace - we just can't cut it.
Yeah away to a side who are great contenders for automatics. Unfortunately with the last 3 shite results against lesser teams (albeit in good form) it looks worse.

A masterclass in coaching and in game management from McKenna though, after a poor start the subs changed the game.
25 points won from losing positions isn’t it? That’s a team that gets promoted.

Rotherham getting Arsenalled

Fair play to Ipswich, I thought they were going to drop out the playoffs but have hit some good form again.

Mr Manning couldn't have picked a worse set of fans for his brand of football!
I mean I’m not sure what brand this is? And if you are going to change an entire philosophy do it gradually and don’t mess up what was going well.

This is so night and day from the saints game, I can't believe we are able to go from the sublime to the ridiculous over the course of 2 games!
Have to give respect to QPR though they are fighting for survival.

Wow very wow

@Silvio Dante this would be a good poll but for me it would be Hartlepool because of the late goals followed by palace. I missed the Man Utd game unfortunately….

I'm amazed that Sam Bell gets a hard time from our fans but Mehmeti doesn't.

So you do see the appeal that people have for doing Middlesbrough away, a weekend in Newcastle.
If they can afford it yes? Really don’t think it’s a difficult point I made but oh well

Do I count having just landed on the Norn Iron flight for tomorrow's game?
For me, Birthday and Christmas presents are flights to watch BCFC. This will be my 75th league grounds with BCFC. Unfortunately, it is not quite 50 if you count current grounds and not their old venue.
To catch up with mates and watch BCFC is my buzz. It'll be my second game this season having seen the Stoke game at the Gate. I'm also flying over for the Ipswich game so that'll be my 76th ground. If we get to the promised land, then 92 is achievable. Unfortunately, most of my grounds were from the 80s onwards when we were dire but the fun going to those grounds and nearby pubs was great.
Nice effort boro just doesn’t appeal to me done Newcastle twice because it was mates birthdays both times we played them recent years. Cracking city but not been to boro.

I don't do loads of away trips, normally about 7 or 8 a season and enjoy every one of them, most take the form as you quoted above!!
I’ve done 7 already and yes I’m not saying I don’t enjoy them. Obviously my post was written poorly.

You don't understand the appeal of travelling to support your team? Strange
I said these type of away games that are miles away because they aren’t as affordable and when you don’t have time so no it’s not strange at all. Probably explains why we get hundred instead of thousands going ?
-
Fair play to those making the trip and especially those who have to travel from Bristol.
I never really understand the appeal of going to these away games unless something riding on them, especially with the cost associated to it. Rarely do I go past the midlands
-
Let this be a reminder to us all, never post something we’ve heard down the pub .

All 80 or so fleetwood fans out singing the gas, how embarrassing for them.

I’d be interested to know how they averaged in that season they bottled it with holloway. Close to automatics near the end weren’t they?

Same shit they always say, “city spent loads and if we spent the same we would do better” well you don’t have a new 40 odd million pound stadium for one so hard to compare.
Also do they forget how much the likes of Derby, Boro, Reading to name a few spent to NOT go up.
