Haven't taken much interest in the prem in years tbf but table looks quite interesting currently.
I used to really like villa as a kid (early 2000s) but a big proportion of their fans have this inflated ego of themselves, especially when they were in championship. I don't remember Newcastle, West Ham or Leeds fans being as bad.

Anyone know the local taps for us to congregate at?

Spotted him at Rotherham years ago. Would love a player like him but they cost alot.

No they don't own the colour or the pirate image so got no problem wearing blue. But if you are referring to playing, watching football or watching city i wont wear blue obviously.

He’s right though
He is and thats why we want their head coach to get us higher. Still a much bigger club than them which is why he will be joining us.

They don’t JUST bankroll a business losing £300k per week ! They RUN a business losing £300k a week ! It’s down to them ! Why do so many Lansdown supporters constantly disassociate them from the losses ? There’s just no logic to that !
This is something the blue few do alot but then its GasLogic at its finest. We are greatful for the stadium and improvements made to the club infrastructure of course we are but on the pitch the Lansdowns have fecked it up royally so many times with their ego.

Had a slightly decent spell at Birmingham in his only ever gig as a head coach, he has only ever been number 2 or caretaker elsewhere.
Still a huge gamble going for him but he would have to be a better shout than the failure that is Rowett..
Rowett who got Millwall 3 8th placed finishes did he not? Might be slightly inaccurate but Rowett is pretty proven at this level of improving teams. Did well at brum until the new owners sacked him.
What are we classing as a failure and success for managers? Is it promotion?

Start the Pearson chants!

Reverse of the 0 - 6 under GJ please!
Good club Ipswich, nothing against them. Ashton is an arrogant ****** though and has pulled the wool over their eyes like he has done at every club.
My prediction 2 - 2 draw.

Maybe we get it around the media groups to commence a sing song chant for Nige from whatever minute, maybe second or third minute for 2/3yr extension ?
Song to sing: "One Nigel Pearson" or "We love you Nigel, we do!" or "Nige Nige super Nige"

Roberts was abysmal.
If rumours are true, and he's been moaning about not starting. However, he did nothing to bolster his case and justify future selection.
He ain't as good as he seems to think he is.
I don't mind players getting the hump about not playing, they should right? But if hes causing an unpleasant environment Nige won't want him here long.

I never pay much attention to these.
Would prefer to see a table which compares away attendences vs miles travelled.
Usually come the end of the season you'll find those with the least amount of miles are up near the top and those with the most down near the bottom.
It also doesn't show you what games were midweek or weekend/bank holiday. So many variables including the weather of course.

Would be interesting to see who come out top when away support is compared to average home attendance
Plymouth and Preston.

Yes incredible support by Plymouth although they haven't played many of these teams in years.
We are having some of our typical big followings early. Swansea, Leicester, Cardiff but i imagine we'll be around mid table for attendances unless we are challenging at the top consistently.
Sunderland though.....

Even the Heddlu?
Heddlu have been brilliant the last two Swansea games tbf. There were a few ***** to deal with from by sets of fans too.

If anyone would nab a goal now its that Jutkiewicz. One thing im surprised at actually is how Brum manage to keep hold of some of their players after all these years. I know hes a veteran but still.

I think the last time I saw us play Leicester we had another james playing... gave away a shocking penalty then redeemed himself saving it, Clarkson scored one of the best goals ive seen at the gate, in that game
Ah 2-0 wasnt it ? from just over the half way line. I think the game before that away we won 3-1 i think? and there was a skuse wonder strike and 'that' Ivan Sproule run through 4 players and evander sno scored a third ?

Argyle away support much better than ours, fair play to em
Did I read they took almost 3k to Preston on Saturday?
For their size and distance they have to travel there aren't any i can think off that travel better.

Rovers will get there before us I really believe that
Remember there was a top flight before the prem? But I do agree after so many making it to the prem, it wouldn't surprise me to see teams like Preston, Millwall, Rovers to did it before us. Could add in Wrexham in all fairness with their backing.

Whilst i see the hypocrisy of what the villa fan is saying, we all know Man City have spent several times more money than Villa have in the last several years in the prem.
I think if you were asked who in the prem are most likely to be breaking financial rules 99% of fans would say Man City.
