Max is a good goalkeeper commands his area and defenders know he will come for a cross and most occasions take it cleanly in the air ( unlike Bentley flapping at it ). He gives confidence to the defence and is always willing receive the ball ️. His distribution could be better on occasions but most of the time it is okay. Let’s face it the statistics show he is one of the best goalkeepers in the championship. The other thing is he has worked hard at our academy stuck to at it done his loans etc. Now he is our No 1 one of our own give the lad a break

How we have not been awarded 2 penalties is beyond belief once again officials seem to be blind to rugby tackles yet a mere tickle by bell is noticeable

Great tackle even the referee felt it was good. Therefore no penalty as the man that counts waved play on. A good call from referee. Probably one of the best referees we have had for a while

Kalas is 30 so away move he makes now could well be the final of his career. Therefore there may be other offers out there , I agree but any move at this stage has to be right. Kalas had a hard time last season as we know so he has to ensure that any offer has due consideration as well as look ? at himself. Pearson made a similar call with Baker.

Kalas as has been pointed was out injured ? for the vast majority of last season so wasn’t in contention. I am sure his attitude is up there with the rest of the team. He has been offered a contract on reduced terms, which Pearson has been open about. Kalas is a good CB and being a free agent he can look elsewhere. He has been a good asset at the club and the door remains open to him. Taking a step back to evaluate your options is a good thing hopefully Tomas will make right decision for himself and his family. I would happily see him playing in a City shirt next season but any decision has to be right for both parties

If he stays at City I am sure SL would give him a free flight on his jet back to the Channel Islands then a short boat ride from Jersey to Guernsey ??

I have got my PNE season ticket ? image downloaded into my apple wallet. By the sounds of things if I am reading the above posts we have to download a new ticket image for each game ! Great if you have a Wi-Fi connection. If you forget to do it before arriving at the ground I can see loads of us trying to download within the useless non Wi-Fi at Ashton Gate. NP has always said he only wants players who want to be at the club. HNM being the example, it was stated this week by NP that he thanked Joe for his honesty regarding a return. A return of a prodigal son is not always a good thing. Joe left us and has moved on so as fans we need to move and wish shoe well where ever he ends up playing. I watched John play against Bristol City back in 1972 in the Gordon Parr testimonial match my first match at the gate. Great to see that Chelsea side which included Osgood, Hudson, Chopper Harris etc. John Hollins very much the unsung hero of that team a true legend RIP

The linesman on the Lansdown side was exactly the same not keeping up with play! The first goal Mahraz had come back from an offside position to receive the ball ️ therefore offside at one 3 Man City players were clearly offside when the ball was played yet once again no flag ?

Just sums up the poor standards of Refereeing in the championship. I am not sure ? that Atkinson was at fault for their free kick prior to Wigan equalising. The Wigan player appeared to be holding Atkinson around the shoulders ! So once again undone by inconsistency of officials

Alex Scott is currently on 9 yellow cards if he gets booked tonight a two match suspension. So expect him to play as he would then Miss Sunderland &Hull returning for Manchester City. If not booked tonight he is walking a tight rope

Well so far this season it hurts me to say it “Mr Stroud has been one of the most consistent referees this season “ The standard of officials has become so bad that OUR Kieth has become one of yhdd Ed best ?.
