  1. Haven’t we had them all this season? Can’t remember Kieth Stroud refereeing us so far this season so maybe ? another awful ? home or away day awaits us ! I could be surprised by a magical performance by the Stroud but not holding my breath! Hopefully we will not get Andy Davies again this season
  2. No pubs close to the ground. There is a Wetherspoons called The White House about 15 mins walk from ground
  3. By sounds of things Moore is also out so that good for defence. Although we most not the old boy factor Flint or Pack to score on return to the gate!! Here’s hoping for a performance in front of a the sol out gate COYR
  4. EFL having a laugh! Following the revelations that we have had the fewest penalties award than any other club in Europe it looks the record is set to continue. Still can’t understand how the challenge on Scott against QPR wasn’t a penalty. I showed the video clip to a Fulham fan friend of mine who was also speechless ? in fact he described it as GBH and felt the challenge should have been a ted card. No doubt Pearson will find it difficult not to say anything
  5. Lots to be positive about from today Samenyo and all our young guns ?up against a side of mercenaries on massive wages Fulham are one of the better teams for only one reason parachute ? payments and for no other reason. The cottage has been a good hunting ground for us in previous seasons. Onwards and upwards to Cardiff next week. There is along way to go but I can see promise starting to develop. COYR
  6. I can see Max starting the defence seems more confident with his ball distribution and appear more positive play out from the back. Bentley seems to just kick and hope. Max played very well last Saturday and should keep the shirt.
  7. I totally back Nigel on his comments perfectly correct the referee was a total disgrace. I can understand why the players became frustrated. The EFL should have a way that clubs can lodge complaints about a referees performance, and allow video evidence of game to be used by the manager charged to back up his comments
  8. Let’s face it on Thursday night the Tef have us nothing. Challenge on Scott definitely a pen but no interest from a clearly incompetent official. On the Pring challenge 50:50 at most but Ref looking to give something. Then Yellow card waving ? who did he actually book your guess is as good as. Mine the players clearly had no idea ! Not sure Ref did either!! But looking at the challenge on Scott it just about sums up our season so far no luck ?
  9. Let’s face it the Referee last night was absolutely crap ?. The yellow card was waving about so much he had no idea who he was booking as long as they were in a red shit. King made a mistake but there was a lot of all in wrestling going on under the referees nose he just happened to spot Kings attempt surprise surprise.
  10. Let’s face it the Referee tonight had an absolute shocker!!
  11. Watched match on Sky tonight pundit Glen Murray very impressed with both also liked our other youngsters on show.
  12. It all boils down to inconsistency of officials in all divisions of football. Especially in the EFL
  13. A really good watch Robbie came across well. Enjoyed his passion and belief that it was going to happen. Just shows what is possible. Football is clearly part of community and thus will be a come back journey to keep an eye ? on.
  14. I would just like a City team to turn up and play something representing football. With some commitment and desire. At least give us something to cheer about
  15. COVID was a big financial drain on all clubs in the EFL not just Derby. The fact they went into administration has nothing to do with it. Derby have constantly flown close to the wind financially and have been prepared to break the rules to succeed but have failed. Punishment is needed not legal dodging come EFL just be strong for once impose your punishment
  16. I not sure ? entering the sack race is a good idea. A move to bring in Shakespeare would be worth thinking about. The main problem at city at the moment is player attitude along with an injury prone squad that lacks leadership on the field. As Cotts once said “ When the team crosses the white line he can only hope they follow the game plan “ So far this season we have lacked this ability!
  17. We are not playing that badly. Their goal was lucky. There have been a few positives. We still have 45 minutes to get back into this. So still plenty of time
  18. There have been big improvements from last season’s shambles so I say back him. The main problem is our unbalanced squad which is the fallout from Ashtons quantity over quality strategy which has left Big Nigel with a fine mess to sort out. I also think that Mr Lansdown is also trying to do the right thing throwing money ? at something for a short term gain is not always the best policy. The club has to be sustainable in the long term. Paying outrageous transfer and agents fees along with players wage demands in the current situation is not the thing to do. Look what happened to us in 1982. Nigel is doing a good job in difficult times so back him
  19. A very frustrating night we need some luck at home second goal hand ball. How nice it would be to have some consistency from referees clear contact on Scott in first half yet no pen
  20. Derby Just trying to dodge the bullet once again looking for every loop hole in the book to upset legal process rather than facing the music.
  21. A great idea ? but once again I am sure Derby would go down the appeal route and mock the rules do wants the point. Derby continue to think they are above the law. The EFL just need to enforce their punishment appropriately
  22. Here we go again Derby trying to stop due process by appealing. Why do they think ? they are a special case every other club that has gone into administration has excepted their 12 point deduction and got on with it !
  23. Let's face the legal process has made a complete mockery of the Derby case legal loopholes have once again allowed a team to get away with bending the rules. The sooner we get a fair and just playing field regarding financial matters in the football the better it has been shown that FFP rules do not work ! Parachute payments need to be scrapped as we are rewarding failure use the money wasted on this to increase winning pots for successful teams that win promotion from the lower leagues
  24. The EFL need to impose punishment now on Derby not hang around again it’s taken a few years of appeal after appeal there obviously is a case to answer. If a point deduction is imposed it needs to be for last season punishment to fit the irregularities as happened within Sheffield Wednesday! You cannot have one rule for one and different rule for another fair is fair
