I had a change of seat yesterday and sat in the South stand rather than the Dolman, great view and a very different perspective. I rather enjoyed it tbh.
I did the opposite and say just off the half way line row 16 totally different and much better

Don't beat the club with this stick. Hummel's suppliers went bust late last year. We aren't the only club suffering from lack of supply. Nothing the club can do about it.
The guy in the shop basically admitted the club never ordered enough in the first place

In the shop yesterday and I reckon they must of had about 12 home shirts left on sale
had a chat with a shop assistant who was stood by the door about availability or lack of it , he said stock levels was done on the previous seasons sales which he pointed out was during lockdown hence absolutely poor availability.
absolutely joke ……

If you were born in the utter grimness of South Lancashire, would you choose to live there, once you'd reached adulthood?
Some may travel, but the ones I talked to in the Tobacco Factory pre-game all lived down here.
There were a dozen on the train coming up from Taunton

Close….we were at Blackpool, won 1-0 Wayne Andrews iirc.
Didn't they also get the original Trumpton fixture postponed in 89/90 when we were on fire* and Bob Taylor wasn’t injured?

Used to be a £5.........robbing sods. That on top of the 9 pound clear air levy and tickets. Slowly being priced out.
If memory serves me the cricket ground charged a £5 and had use of all the field then the owner of the field next to the cricket ground thought hang on I’m missing a trick here and a fence went up between the two fields. They then stating charging £10 whilst the cricket club still charged £5 . When I asked a parking attendant at the cricket about only charging £5 they said it would stay like that till the end of season. Next season they were charging £10 that’s when we started using the train and never looked back

Criticism of the ground is coming from such a narrow perspective, the sales of rose tinted glasses must be one of the reasons for a slight up turn in the economy.
When the ground was in it's previous condition, all I used to hear was the opposite moans on here, we wanted a ground to be proud of, now it's here and it's the target of moans too.
I realise it's "it's not how it used to be" but it's what the majority wanted and got. In the past, when the club was struggling, the gates would drop into the low teens at best, nowadays it's notable if they drop into the high teens.
I worry that all this "we want our club back" stuff, is just that.... people who want their own cosy little private club that they don't have to share with newcomers, the families and the "corporates". So just at the time when the club needs to be generating as much income as possible, we have a group of people who seem to want push those people away.
I don’t miss there not being locks on the toilet doos when I want a dump
