If memory serves me we normally get them midweek now ?
I remember the bank holiday Monday games about 20 years ago the Sunday night was like the Wild West in Plymouth that night -
Think I saw somewhere yesterday cov had 30 k
I know there doing well and it was a kind of local Darby but with what they have been through the last few years it’s good to see them back at home and getting good crowds
calling it home might be open to debate

Unfortunately the only ‘new arrivals’ in the club shop are hats, gloves, scarves and coats
The latest rewards on offer are not much better

Looking at the criteria the minimum requirement seems to be 30,000 seats. AG doesn't have that.
Could be moot anyway as we lose out to the Turks.
I really can’t see turkey getting it

An element of being disillusioned/priced out of supporting nearby premier league sides perhaps? IIRC a lot of Man City fans come/came from the Stockport area.
I meet some many city fans that now watch Rochdale as it’s cheaper and more like football used to be

I was there more recently - don’t recall them doing much of note during my 4 years! But as you say it’ll be great to get back to the City. I was excited to go back to my old drinking spots - before remembering I’m not a 20 year old student anymore and would look very out of place
And probably not allowed in them as city are playing there that day

Not Bristol but it really makes me think when I go back to Taunton these days. There used to (allegedly) be 92 pubs in the town and suburbs but I doubt there`s a third of that now. The challenge back in the day was to have a pint in each over the course of a weekend but to my knowledge no-one ever managed it mainly due to the time it took to get to the outlying ones like The Harp, The Shepherds Rest. The Waggon & Horses or The Oxford (no all day opening back then) - gave it a bloody good go once or twice mind!
Didn’t bridgwater hold a record or was up near the top for the amount of pubs it had for the size of the town . In some streets there we’re literally a pub every five or six doors down in the middle of town

The fact that Spain put out an under strength side will be lost on him.
Who will care they got 3 points surly that’s all that counts

We went to that game on a minibus, got lost in London, no sat navs back then and we got in about 20 minutes late and missed the goal and I think we ran out of fuel on the way back...great day
Went up on berry’s bus from Bridgwater for that game what year was it?

I’m guessing you haven’t been to Bridgwater then!
Walked down flip flop alley ( St John street) recently how that’s changed over the years
