It was certainly the point put across by Dave Barton and he mentioned the line about a concert, maybe @thatcham redcould confirm what he thought?

A small example, when we played away at Hull recently, because the ground was being used by someone else that night Bristol City were not allowed to park the two CATS coaches wthin the car park to pick up supporters, one was adjacent to KFC the other was the opposite side of the road

At present this is also going to happen for the 11 coaches going to Leicester. Jerry (SLO) has raised his concerns about people being all over the main road but time will tell if Bristol Sport listen

Out of interest how do you feel it differs?

I personally came away from the meeting surprised at how little Bristol City seem to have a say IN everything

Your last sentence I find quite worrying

scoop , good old fashion word for bender / on the piss / A mad one / sesh /

all seems a distant memory now - any more than about 4 now and I’m bloated and want some food , in the good old days food wasn’t allowed until it was kebab time , then 9 times out of 10 you slept with it rather than eat it

That Kev i can totally relate to plus needing a wee every half hour

Can anyone help with England tickets I’m after 1 adult & 1 child ticket or 2 adults for the Italy match at Wembley next month? If anyone has or knows anyone selling please let me know.

A guy in Bridgwater I know runs mini busses and tickets for most home games if that’s any help

    On the friendlies.

Does anyone know why St James Park in Newcastle is hosting two Saudi Arabia friendlies in this international break?

    Bit weird isn't it?

Goosebumps watching that. Went to that game, FA Cup tie. I always call it the Jackie day. Junior Bent outran every defender. City fans most of the way down one side and nearly half the end behind the goal. The old Filbert street was rocking. Great away game.

About 12 of use drank in a bar before the game with a load of Leicester fans and made a deal what ever the result we would be welcome back after the game

true to there word we back in after the game and had a brilliant evening with them all

In our GJ play off season we had 17 points in the first 10 games, 17 in the second 10 and 17 in the third 10.

I don’t think we quite got 17 in the fourth 10, can’t remember exactly. But anyway that was a good springboard for a playoff place

GJ had a thing about blocks of 10 games if memory serves me

Although there is also an argument that proximity between away fans and home fans can enhance atmosphere, competitive chanting trying to outsing etc.

East End in modern times had home and away fans in the same stand e.g. as did the Atyeo for 2 seasons.

Sat in the atyeo for those 2 seasons and I swear some fans watched about 60 seconds of football and spent the rest of the time goading away fans .. but never ventured into the park at full time though

I'm assuming these dhgate tops are the same ones you can buy from the markets in Turkey? We've not long got back from there, my eldest daughter got the Bayern Munich floral top (Oktoberfest edition) and my middle daughter got the Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Inter Miami tops. They ate all surprisingly good quality and it is actually quite hard to tell them apart from the real thing. Plus I managed to haggle them down to £30 for the four tops, so can't go wrong for £7.50 each!

Slightly off topic but some of the good available in turkey now are top quality

I bought a Lacoste polo shirt last week and it’s impossible to tell the difference between fake and original

I remember coming out of that 3 nil thrashing at Twerton with Rovers fans running past us absolutely petrified.

I remember catching the early train over to bath and it full of shop lifters banking on city fans playing up and giving them a easy days pickings

I don’t think they were disappointed

Wow. Popped into shop today. Barely any stock! Will be embarrassing on saturday with everyone visiting to purchase stuff.
Couldnt buy a full kit for my little’un at all of any type ( age 9 ).
If they had shirts, then no shorts or socks. Or no shirts but socks and shorts. Absolute disgrace of a commercial operation to not have kit available to their fans.
Whoever is in charge must ( or should be ) feeling awful. A massive own goal here by the club at a prime time for purchasing what with half term and a new season upon us.
Wont be going near the store for a while now so theyve lost a bigger spend from me because of this. Im sure im one of many many more that will do the same now.

Who ever is in charge should be sacked

Not good to hear, it always annoys me that anyone customer facing etc can't put a smile on their face or treat their customer politely

More importantly did you get your tickets sorted?

I know the club have been caught out with the demand for physical tickets, and apparently have run out presently

The club CAN issue tickets by email that can be printed or shown on a phone screen etc

Yes he did sort tickets via email and he probably has had his ear bent all day long but honestly mate it turned into a full blown argument and he just kept quoting facts about Liverpool. I’m ring the club tomorrow to complain, just a typical office bod that hides behind a phone .

Sadly you are not the only person wanting to ask questions

I thought I’d tag you as you know me and might be able to get some answers

I rang the ticket office today waited 45 minutes and was then treated to some absolutely shocking customer service

the first thing I was told that it was only digital tickets were available and nothing else . When I challenged that he said again we had no choice to which i replied was not true as at the bottom of the page was the option for people with no smartphones to get a physical ticket .

the next thing I was told was that Liverpool have 39.000 season tickets and only 500 applied for a physical ticket.. I don’t care we’re not Liverpool

last but not least they have now ran out of physical tickets ….

the bloke on the phone was a complete bell end and unbelievable rude
