I wouldn't. May as well bring GJ back as they are similar sort of managers. It could be argued that their achievements in the game have been very similar.
I've watched enough of Coventry to know I'd not want that style of football here. Coventry fans are unhappy that he's pissed 25 million up the wall on players that look out of their depth at this level.
That's why I compare Robins to GJ. Great when there is no budget but ultimately fails when there is a budget.
Handing JD a 4 year contract is a prime example of why I'd not want him here.
Let’s hope their fans remain unhappy come 5pm on the 21st

Sadly won’t happen - only ever hear from him at the start of the season (not this year though) or when things are going well.
Steve doesn’t portray himself/handle things well when under pressure / supporters aren’t happy (with him)……

What a farcical decision, based on the turnover of squad he’s overseen in the summer and the start they’ve made.
Hope the “Bluenoses” take a nose dive from here….

I hope Ashton Gate let’s MA know exactly what we think of him in a couple of weeks time.
I wonder if the arrogant so and so will be in attendance that night?!

I maintain that he was at least partly unsighted on the second one.
Possibly but I’d still say that the 1st goal we conceded was worse - he’s been excellent so far but Knight should have got rid and not have been caught out like he was….

Very frustrating watch as my feed kept jumping backwards 20/30 seconds, hard to watch too closely at times.
I didn't think we were good today, yeah we had some decent spells, we actually forced them back and had a couple of opportunities , but the spark wasn't there. Too many 5/6's when more 7 & 8s we might have nicked something.
Thought Naismith had a decent game, Pring too TBF. But Sykes being a little ineffective shows how important he normally is. We need Taanner ( and/or McCrorie ) back to get TGH into MF as an option. Wells going off changed the game in Leeds favour, his pace and direct running was a threat, Cornick isn't the same player and after a good showing midweek he was off it today.Just trawling Twitter and I saw this, nice take on it and cheered me up, just a bit.
Chatting to Leeds fans on the way back to the station and they said the same thing…..we were the best side to have visited ER this season…….let’s hope we now come back from the International Break well

Contact Gareth Torpy at Supporter Services.
I managed to get mine yesterday. I phoned him to see if any were still available because online was unclear. He checked there were, reserved them for me, emailed me a link and I ordered online from that link.
See you there @Davefevs

When you look at some of the pens we don’t get and then see that……comical.
Absolutely disgraceful decision

My first trip to ER with City tomorrow - looking forward to it
Perhaps I could be a lucky omen for the boys

Surprised there is still 222 left - perhaps people are yet to realise that we’ve had an additional allocation?

Has anyone got a spare ticket for this. I live in Leeds but couldn't get a ticket, I really don't want to have to sit in the home end.
130 tickets left on the website

You really need to watch the video taken from SS.
Where do you sit btw?
I’m in LS, I thought it was a coming together, but I had a crap angle.
it’s a forearm smash.
Once again, an absolute joke of a decision - thought it was a penalty at the time (I’m in the SS) and now I see this clip - what game were the officials watching to have missed this?!
As you say…..a forearm smash!!!

I personally have a bad feeling that Sam Bell could be sacrificed in January / Summer to make way for another 2/3 League One / Two squad players and to enhance the nest egg.
On current forum, I’d say it’s more likely to be Knight that becomes our next big money departure.

Let’s see how we react on Wednesday - need a result as unlikely to get much/anything against Leeds - don’t want to go into the international break on the back of a really poor run of results
Play like we did going forward today and cut out the mistakes and we are more than good enough to win away at Rotherham
Real tough one to take today but hopefully, we will bounce back in midweek

First initial allocation 2,018 , said website, now sold out will we get more now ?
Sheffield Wednesday had 2,916 tickets and so assume we’ll get another 900 - didn’t expect us to sell 2,000 tickets for this one
Another impressive away following, having already sold-out away games at Swansea, Millwall and Leicester already

Can see Nige being offered a new deal just as next seasons Season Ticket prices are announced!

A change of scenery for me last night, my brother (77) was up from Plymouth for the game. I bought him his ticket in the Lower Lansdown and switched mine from Section 82 for the night.
8 rows from the front affords you a superb view and I was struck by how much quicker the game felt and how you could almost feel the intensity of the tackling and jostling for the ball.
Although you lose a little perspective across the pitch it took me back to my younger days of sitting on the East End wall with my legs dangling through the railings.
My brother had a great time, though having travelled on occasions to Argyle away games with mates in the past, he was really disappointed to hear how quickly they turned on their team at half time.
He has been to 3 games in the last 7 years and seen 18 goals. (Hull 5-5, Coventry 2-1 and now 4-1) I wish he could come more often. I love to hear his stories of Atyeo, Boxley, Peacock, Williams etc from before I was born.
For what it's worth he said he hasn't seen a City team play with that level of intensity before, and was impressed that we looked equally as strong after the substitutions.
Thanks to the lads for providing a great night for him, and "yah boo sucks" to the guys a few rows behind us who jokingly shouted at me to "act your age" when I joined in with the "stadium bounce".
Finally it was interesting to see Pearson having a little joke with Downsy and giving him a peck on the cheek as they were welcoming the players off the pitch at the end, perhaps not the pariah at the club that some think.
Glad you and your brother had a good evening - made better by the 4-1 score line
Yoo reddsss
