Must be at least 30k of them here too, creating one of the best atmosphere's I've ever heard
Sounds brilliant on TV

A lot of the replies on there are suggesting him, more mentions than any other player.
Once we get one bid, the rest will follow - sense the first team to lodge an offer will be Wolves

….and o know you know this, but buying Alex for £25 m on a 5 year deal is “only” £5m (plus wages) next season!
Or do a Chelsea, give him an 8 year contract and it’s only £3m

1.5million offer on the table from us. Other clubs in for him
Probably take double that for them to at least consider it……

Brentford have offered 30m for Brennan Johnson.
Wow…..didn’t see that coming!!!
Going to be lots of twists and turns during the window - as others have said, if Scotty does go, can see it being right at the end of the window.
One thing is for sure, if this were to happen, I’d have every confidence in NP and Tinns having a replacement fully lined up…..unlike when we lost Webster!

Perhaps, but that still wouldn’t preclude a ‘bidding war’.
I have just seen @Davefevs’s response.
Yes, of course, a contract extension would certainly suit City and, to a certain extent, AS also.
I do wonder, though, what role his agent has, and whether he/she would be amenable to an extension.
Isn’t his dad his agent?

A few more weeks of no news and the chances of him signing a new contract here with an appropriate release clause go up
I wonder if Pearson really wants Scott or some funds to splash the cash
Nige will be more interested in Alex staying - we should be building our team around him.

Have City missed out McCorrie?
No - he’s in Bristol now, ready for his medical tomorrow apparently

Great way to start our summer recruitment - well played City….
Can’t quite believe we’ve signed a player of his quality for such a low fee

Really like the look of this 11 - would only suggest Wells for Cornick though

Great game……Ross C could have snatched it at the end

Sign of the times….Coventry able to offer better terms than us.
As others have said, would much rather have Cam and JB as our two LBs though….that the JB rumours come true

A penny for Harry Cornick's thoughts this morning.
I’m sure he’s fine……likely to be earning more with us than he would with Luton (even in the Prem) - wasn’t a starter for Luton before he joined us and so would not have been a starter for them in the Prem….

If he had Middlesborough or even West Brom after him it would make sense if he went there but we're talking about Blackburn and Swansea. Blackburn finished 10 points above us with a negative goal difference. Swansea 7 points. Blackburn have lost their source of goals, Swansea their manager. Both have smaller wage budgets and smaller crowds.
More importantly, he’s a Bristol boy and will probably prefer to finish his career with his boy hood club

Teeing up a replacement in case AS goes?

Was playing there prior to injury when I saw him against Rangers, too.
Intriguing, seeing as we ditched that system a while ago.
Genuinely have no idea if Nige sees him as a RB, CB or DM.
I think Nige will see him mainly as a CB but having this level of versatility would be great for us
Similar thought process for JB too - LB/LWB or MF

Let’s hope he gets taken off to protect him!
