We were poor but Millwall are no mugs - they just beat QPR and Norwich and only lost 3-2 to Leicester.

Be interesting to see who Liam manages to bring in this transfer window.
You feel that just a couple of tweaks could make the difference.

With a performance like we just had, this could be a cricket score

Birmingham as a team are poor but they have good individual players and I thought they defended really well tonight - almost parked the bus. Good point for us.

As a 'new' poster you may not be aware of this but around the time NP was sacked, we were infiltrated by employees of Bristol Sport. A lot of them had red in their names I believe. Their posts was exactly like all of your posts have been. Pro Lansdown, anti NP and pro Liam Manning.
Surely nothing wrong with being 'pro Liam Manning' ?

City just played one of the best halves of football for years and there are some on here gushing over ex players and other teams scores. FFS start separate topics surely?

Merry Christmas guys.
Over the year I know many of us on here have some disagreements and heated debates which we shouldn't take too seriously as they are just difference of opinions and never knowingly personal or nasty.
At the end of the day, we are all big City fans and that what bonds us all and makes us part of a wonderful and exclusive club.

Andy 'never knowingly supported a manager' since 2005
That's probably because the managers over that period haven't been successful

We upgraded on Tanner in the summer of 2022. The highly tipped upgrade was injured at the start of the season, never found his rhythm for us and then was moved on in the summer.
We upgraded again in the summer with a substantial outlay. The upgrade has had a freak injury so Tanner has been playing. How many right backs do you want us to sign exactly?
Just until we get a decent one - is that too much of an ask

Behave you silly sausage.
To improve the squad you need to spend money.
Such money was denied the previous manager to a great extent.
The new man will possibly be allocated funds but I suspect may have other positions targetted as priorities.
We are Bristol City not Manchester City or even Coventry City.
The best man available and a 100% trier.
I do understand that and yes, Tanner is a trier but I do think he is very average and we do need to upgrade.
Tbh, more of a concern is Prings form as he is nothing like the player of a year or so ago.

Who do you want, Trent Alexander-Arnold?
You seem more upset that we won yesterday than you were when we lost the other night.
I just pointed out a couple of weak links in our team and you lot fly off on one.
And yes, I was more upset about the performance yesterday because although we won, it was worse than the last game.

It's the people RUNNING IT who think our squad is top end AND have the clout in terms of recruitment who will see us fail to progress, you silly sausage, not some supporter with no say in recruitment and an opinion you don't agree with. You've had an absolute mare there.
There are plenty on here who thing our bad player are fine...you silly sausage.

Not good enough vs what standard?
It's people like you who have some warped loyalty to our average players who will never see us progress.

Just trying to point out that Tanner is not good enough and neither is Pring at the moment with his poor form.
