I see Adriano Basso was Bury’s goalkeeper coach so obviously thoughts with the players and staff who’ve lost their livelihood through no fault of their own

Tbh if we were in their position we’d do the same but shows they’re looking down rather than up in their division despite being the sixth richest club and all that 

Whilst it may be too late for Bolton and possibly Bury the authorities need to get their act together to stop these situations happening, imposing a salary cap for example and ensuring there aren’t any ridiculous loopholes 

Also i’d like to see some sort of levy imposed as sort of a membership fee of the top 4 divisions. If 1% of turnover and tv money went into a centrally managed fund this could go towards grassroots as well as issuing grants to make it more of a level playing field. If clubs refuse to pay this fee then they should be kicked out of the league and it’s only really the top 6 clubs who’d threaten to break away if this happened

1450 of them made the trip, so not quite what we took last weekend 

Most of the theories so far have been of pilot error so in a strange way this would come as a small relief to the pilots family 

Meanwhile over at Bolton bassini is challenging the preferred bidder to take them out of administration, definitely several sandwiches short of a picnic that one

Looks like Cardiff are now looking at ways of getting out of paying the transfer fee now, all very ironic given the criticism they have Nantes for starting legal action to get their first instalment 

All getting very nasty and no sides here are coming out with any credit

I took my vietnamese flatmate to this as seeing an english football match was on his bucket list, within 20 minutes he was singing along and now wants to go again so if we ever get a Vietnamese branch of the supporters club i'll take full credit
