Yes they can be charged but obviously very messy and one the silver tongued ones will be all over, so no quick resolution. You keep quoting EFL clubs and decisions where there were set guidelines. The PL rules re punishments are vague to non existent which is the problem with Everton's second charge. I agree they are totally guilty but legally it will get messy.

Bit over the top for a Guilty plea imo. Obviously they would be 'lawyered up' (I probably used the wrong term) but there is a discrepancy in that they have been charged with breaching years 1 and 2 of the cycle, so theoretically can not be charged again for those years. This fact just complicates matters and will play in to the hands of the KC defending them, which is why I think they will get a smaller punishment for this cycle.

Not saying it should be, just a gut feel. Don't think the Premier League handled the original case particularly well and should have had rules in place indicating what the points deduction would be per £5 million of breach (as per the EFL). They seemed to be making it up as they went along. Everton will be lawyered up for the second breach and will tie the PL up in knots due to being charged already for 2 of the 3 years, even though we all know it is a rolling three years.

Fwiw I think it will be reduced from 10 to 6, but they have more serious financial worries looming than just this. The £150m loan from 777 just for starters. Probably lose another 4 points for the second breach, although that is a bit more complicated owing to being already charged for 2 of those 3 years.

For those watching on S4C, you can change the Audio to English. I watched Shrewsbury V Wrexham in the last round and commentary was pretty decent.

And in 30 years time Liam Manning and 4 of the players that can be arsed to turn up will be paraded around the pitch as the highlights are played on the big screen.
