  1. Any of that I would happily swap for the sterile atmosphere and dross served up on a billiard table of a pitch, yesterday.
  2. That's a myth. Show me a single Premier League club that doesn't lose money.
  3. So that has to be down to the manager and his tactics, whichever standard of football you play at.
  4. Even better than what has come through recently, allegedly.
  5. Won't that mean also shipping out most of the academy , seeing that we intend playing the same system throughout all age levels of the club.
  6. Not to forget his drunken behaviour, barging in on a wedding party whilst on England duty during Southgates first get together. Job for Lampard
  7. They didn't have a packed defence, yesterday. We just didn't have the guile to pass the ball forward. I'm pretty sure every other Championship side has played 4 games in 11 days. If tiredness is a problem perhaps we should have had a week off to re charge during the last International break.
  8. Personally neither am I. In fact I abhor the Premier league. Give me a bit of entertainment, win, lose or draw and I will be pretty content. I enjoyed the process and journey we were on under NP. To date I am unconvinced that the change was either necessary or likely to exact the type of football we were promised. The Lansdowns have had their chance, now move over to allow a new owner with different ideas a chance.
  9. I don't do xg but we have scored 11 goals from open play in 11 games, not sure if that's good or bad re xg, but 6 of those came in 2 games.
  10. And before that 7 in 7, and 3 of those were in one game.
  11. Fans singing "get out of our club," again yesterday.
  12. If any West Ham fans read this forum, bring a blanket and small pillow with you next Sunday. We will ensure you are nodding off by half time. Right, left, left, right, right ,left, hump ball long, lose possession. Repeat for 90 minutes, until we concede.
  13. He's been instructed to not work as hard out of possession and been told to stay in the middle. Personally I miss the Tommy of last season where he was buzzing around defenders, forcing mistakes and running from deeper to get on the end of things.
  14. Conway, like Scott will be even better with better players around him. At the moment he is being played in the wrong position / formation and hasn't even got any half decent scraps to feed off. Conway of last season would have hit that second half through ball first time. The keeper was miles out and struggling to get back. A first time effort on target would have gone in imo.
  15. Ah, yes but the snake has clearly stated that there are even better players in the year groups behind. All will be revealed when he returns to twitter and we are in the Prem.
  16. We've already spent 700k to loan him, so only an extra 1million to keep him.
  17. Totally agree with you. Knight is wasted in an advanced role. Tommy could (and has) play that role with Wells just ahead of him.
  18. Not the be careful what you wish for tosh, again. Like what... Reading, Portsmouth, Wigan, Cardiff, Birmingham......all of whom have been to the Premier League and some a cup final as well.
  19. Really !!!! Which ones ? Qpr, Borough,Norwich, Birmingham, Blackburn, Huddersfield or perhaps yesterday was the best of the lot.
  20. Think it was closer to 2m
  21. They weren't eye of the needle passes. Several were first time simple passes that Tanner refused. Obviously Weimann is going to drift inside, he's not a winger.
  22. Or you could turn it around and say the Tanner made Weimann look poor today by continually ignoring the runs being made ahead of him and constantly turning back. Weimann made many good runs first half and was totally ignored.
  23. I've still got a stiff neck this morning from looking right, left, right, left, right etc as we passed the ball continually across the back line. What a turgid, woeful performance.
