  1. Become a member and hope there are some left for members or buy a ticket in the home end.
  2. Failed to notice Liverpool's new stand then. Would suggest Luton's new stand is also a tad better.
  3. Early / mid 80's Stoke Gifford near Parkway (long before Bradley Stoke was a thing).
  4. Not according to Richard Gould at the fans forum last November. We were within limits although close and as he said ( I think) better to have a points penalty than have to sell our best players
  5. But but but....we had £10 million from the Semenyo sale and would have used that to fund Mehmeti, Cornick, Roberts, Mcrorie, and Knight with change left over. The Scott sale was a bonus
  6. I walked past this lot, minus their gimp masks, on the way to the ground on Saturday. They certainly didn't look like they were there for a sing song. Frankly they looked ridiculous all dressed in 'uniform' jeans and black tops on a boiling hot day.
  7. And Alexander alluded to bonus amount / add ons. I guess appearance based, staying up. Question is though is that part of the £25m package or additional.
  8. That was my big take from the interview. It was almost as though Lansdown was desperate to sell Scott and the longer it went on he would take any deal / offer that took the total to around £25m. Also I don't recall SL or PA actually confirming that the deal was £25m. Tins said Scott was worth more than £25m but for all we know Lansdown may have caved at £20m.
  9. Blooding a 17 year old in a pre season friendly against a Premier League team and watching said teenager run the game. Then giving that same teenager 96 first team games over the next couple of years might have helped generate a sale.
  10. So SL has decided to be the only owner in the entire football league not to top the club up. League one here we come then. ps he may be the owner but he is only the current custodian. The Scott money isn't his money it's the clubs money. No one put a gun to his head 20 odd years ago and said buy Bristol City FC. That was his decision and if he hasn't been able to 'flip' the club and make a profit that again is down to him. Tough times ahead for Steve and John boy if NP is let go.
  11. Totally hypothetical seeing that Robin's has a contract until 2027.
  12. I watched him pretty closely, yesterday. Being the new boy making his debut. Pre game I liked the way he went round most of the team gave them all a 'good luck' hug. Showed a bit of confidence at the start rather than keeping his head down and shuffling off to RB. One mistake aside he looked assured, technically and positionally good. Tall and strong with a great touch. A 'proper' footballer and one after 82 minutes I hope we keep long term. A great addition and a definite upgrade on what we've got now.
  13. I agree, I sensed a bit more edge than normal from the away end. May just have been the awful ref but the away end was really up for it today.
  14. Are you Headhunter in disguise ? He loves a good extrapolation.
  15. I always park in Hafod. No parking restrictions 10 minute walk to the ground. Otherwise Pentrehafod school is close and charges per car. Or there's the park and ride directly opposite the stadium, but that gets full pretty early.
  16. Two home games in quick succession soon. SL will be praying we do well or it could be squeaky bum time for him. The fans are not going to turn on ( blame) Pearson now.
  17. Tinns said there was a plan if Scott stays and a plan if he goes. I guess the second part of that was 'do nothing.'
  18. I think he's getting off lightly at the moment. Just wait for 12/18 months time after he has allowed NP to leave and we are staring at a return to League one.
  19. Yet again you miss the point. Both improved the squad and keep us strong over 90 minutes. Gone are the days of 2 years ago when substitutions actually weakened us and led to lots of late goals being conceded.
  20. To just keep lumping the ball up to ???
