The whole team performance was a disgrace today. Walked past by a team who are low on confidence, let's blame one player for our whole performance shall we? Much easier to do that. Weimann, Martin, Wells couldn't control a football between them, but nowt said about them. Massengo and Benarous headless chickens but all silent there. McGoldrick bullied our backline all day and ran them ragged at 34 years old and showed our forwards how to play football but let's all blame Bakinson. Bakinson was shite but the whole team was, the only performances that were anywhere near to the standard we need was maybe Kalas and Vyner, says it all.

All the team lose the ball, most of them never bust a gut. The whole team looks weak and porous. He's the only player who attempts to pass the ball forward and won us three points in the week. Let's be fair and criticise the whole team performance each game. The majority of the team slept in today but nothing mentioned about them.

Carry on this season grinding out a few results to keep us afloat is the best we can hope for with this squad. Pretty much every game since LJ came in I've rarely seen us dominate a game, and every match seems to be close or we concede a lot of the ball and nick it. We haven't outplayed a team since maybe Luton at home a couple years ago, the quality of players in this team just ain't up to standard of where our fanbase thinks we should be. You can pinpoint certain player's performances each game like I saw Bakinson mentioned in the thread today but let's not scapegoat players each game when the whole team did nothing. Yes, Bakinson made a couple mistakes but there were 10 other men on the pitch who let Sheff U roll over us today and they were poor themselves. If you ask any other fans of other sides we play I doubt many of them would be begging to sign any our players and that says a lot about what we have going on in BS3. They are either learning their trade in difficult conditions or just letting the season pass them by. Majority of them aren't good enough but they are good enough to be where we are at this moment in time.

Could see SL give Tinman another promotion from his job and a second-go at the managerial reins, that is how much I trust this club, oh dear.

As soon as the Cotterill squad was getting picked apart I haven't felt much for this squad/team. Last players I cared about were Fam, Pato and Brownhill and now they're gone there's not many players who fill me with hope bar Tanner, Semenyo and Massengo but their confidence has probably been killed off playing with the rest of these useless muppets.

Would like to see him show for the ball more, his creativity and level of passing can be really top draw but he also goes for the hollywood pass way too often, mix it up and be a bit more aggressive in the tackle and he would be right up there.

If we could knock the ball about and work half as hard as they did with 10 then it would be an improvement. Coventry players on probably half the wages our lot are on and absolutely ran us off the pitch and worked till the end. Full credit to them they probably deserved to nick it at the end. We deserved to lose based on how we started that second half, never got going at all unfortunately. How many chances bar the goal did we have against 10 men by the way? Martin had a shot that went wide and I can't remember much else. So poor.

no we're not. we're just shit. got outran by 10 men, they created better chances than us with 10. Team went missing and thought it'd be a doddle with the extra man. Been found out yet again.

I take what I said about Vyner back

if COD used his right foot I'd get off his case but it still irks me that he just won't use it. No real standouts so far from the team though i'd say Vyner has been pretty good bar one messy clearance, think we might be catching Coventry at the perfect time and the boys are doing okay, room for improvement but some positive signs. Rather someone else on the wing than Weimann, Tanner still keeps getting exposed with him sat in front.

I'd keep James, Williams, Tanner, Atkinson, Pring, Massengo and Bentley and bin the rest of the older lot off, they aren't progressing or improving us in the slightest. I'd rather have 11 players like Tanner and be right near the bottom but show fight and willingness to improve and fight in games, if we get outplayed so be it, but this squad is so unbalanced its unbelievable. Paying 20k a week for players like Wells, Martin, Weimann, Palmer, O'Dowda and even Kalas and Baker just doesn't ring right with me. We could get so much more out of players on a quarter of that.

Anyone else really miss the good times in League One? Joking aside, they are levels above our players but I still wanna see us get a big closer and win more of the ball, we can't even get two or three passes together. It's really ugly to watch.

Personally I don't think its NP's fault that Weimann, Wells, Martin etc can't control a football under pressure half the time.

We've had a lot of the same players for a while now. And look where we are going like you've mentioned, on our way down. I look at every other team we play in the league and I would much rather have a lot of their players then the majority of our starters, especially in forward areas. I'd much rather have Wilbraham up top then the strikers we have now, and that says a lot.

You can bring in any manager with this squad, same thing will happen, been happening for years and ain't gunna change overnight.

If he had the backing to sign more of what he wanted I'd doubt Weimann and Baker would be here. and 5/11 isn't 11/11 or what about a squad of players he wants. He wouldn't have let Baker go in the first place if he was given the funds.

LJ or Holden never used Pring or Scott, its NP who is bringing through the youngsters and actually playing them. We have been awful at home since Cotterill left, this isn't a now issue thats popped up out of the blue, this has been building up for years.

This team is predominantly Lee Johnson's and Dean Holden's team, and looked what happened to them, sacked. Nige ain't perfect but he's a damn sight better than those two. No other manager could get a tune out of these misfits. Our best players this year and who seem to still be progressing have been the young players coming through - Pring, Massengo, Scott and Tanner. That says it all about this team. (Forgot Atkinson!) Other teams in this league would not be clambering to take players off our hands, I wonder why? Not good enough. A lot of them are not good enough for what we need right now. Not enough quality, not strong enough mentally and physically not up to the task. Once things don't go their way they revert to type and it's same old story Bristol City.
