All that early season optimism and good football. Typical City hope rises and then when you think we are getting somewhere it all falls to pieces. Falling like a stone. So disappointing but oh so predictable.

But doesn't Hogan have a habit of scoring against us. Maybe wrong but a point would be a good result having drawn at home to what was the bottom club at the time.

As previously mentioned the Academy is now massively important as a source of new players.

We have to count ourselves unlucky in the extreme to lose both Baker and Kalas with such severe problems.

How many times have we thrashed Blackpool away from home. I hope you are right but I think it will be a tough game and I would be happy with a point and keep the run going. I have these nightmare memories of going to Blackpool and being hammered by 6 goals I think when we had a chance of the playoffs. COYR.

What is also good is Pearson is prepared to give players who are performing in training or as a sub a chance in the first team. How good is that for our young players and fringe players. Work hard and take your chance and the sky's the limit.

When you read what is happening at Barcelona and how much we are battling to stay in the boundaries of FFP it seems farcical.

Just what crossed my mind. We have to hold to give the team some belief in themselves.

If we want to see the football club progress then The trouble was Lansdown wasn't the dream ticket for all his massive financial support he has selected a stream of sub standard Managers and topped it off with Ashton as CEO and his son as a Chairman. If only he had kept out of the football side of things and just did the financial side then it would have been brilliant. But for all the great facilities and ground that will form his legacy look at the state of the team/squad and Manager he has left us with.

Something needs to change. We cannot just have a re run of last season. Otherwise it will surely end in relegation.

I still do not understand why a defensive midfielder was not a priority. It has been needed for so long.

Should we not expect better than last season or just more of the same.
