  1. Well I am more than happy to trust the judgement of NP. If he thinks he is a good signing for us then that is good enough for me. He knows a lot lot more about football than I do.
  2. What a great shame. Somebody who knew what he was talking about on the lower leagues. A real pleasure to listen to. How much better than the Sky team when , for example, Tim Sherwood was saying on Saturday how Kiefer Moore scored a few goals while playing for Swansea. They simply don't believe football exists outside the Premiership.
  3. How much income have the club lost by having such a poor club shop. I would imagine it would be very sizeable. And the Rugby seems about the same. Surely Gould should look at this and take some action.
  4. Why would they be interested in Johnson.
  5. Well done Andi.A great achievement.Ypu are a credit to yourself and football.
  6. Share the burden with John. I would love to know what the bloke does.
  7. I remember watching him play for Chesterfield in that brilliant cup run. I said to my son that is a centre half we could do with at City. Really pleased when he was signed. I had little idea he would be so bad for us. Really disappointing. But yes for me up there with one of the worst. But a great Manager and disgusting that Burnley have sacked him.
  8. I don't think SL has tried everything. He has continued to believe that he knows best and we have suffered season after season for it. Instead of accepting other people involved in football might know better or be able to offer advice. It has been the SL way only.
  9. That is the Steve Lansdown way now appoint a manager and CEO and turn his back on whatever is happening. And as for Jon Lansdown running the club what a joke he is.
  10. We have been here so many times. The one common theme to the mess which is Bristol City is Steve Lansdown. For the club to progress the question should be will Lansdown walk. Poor choices of manager time and time again. Poor choice of CEO in Ashton . Poor oversight from him and Jon Lansdown that allowed Ashton to he working for Ipswich while pretending to be our CEO. And poor investment in players leading to the current squad that is not fit for purpose. You can get rid of manager after manager ,which he has done, but with Lansdown picking them and running the show we are going no where but down.
  11. There will always be people who would want the job. What is better than taking over a hopeless team going no where but down. The only way is up if you are any good. Take over a successful in team and the pressure to maintain that is massive eg Man United.
  12. And somebody on here was talking about an easy win. What a joke.
  13. Lansdown has helped to create the mess we are in by giving Johnson endless amounts to spend and picking an endless supply of sub standard managers. But fair play he bails us out of the mess he has caused by poor stewardship. And after years of his reign, we have ended up in the state we are in now, some legacy.
  14. How many other clubs are in such a shite state as us. Many have not mismanaged as poorly as us for such a long period and will surely be able to spend something.
  15. Can you tell me what game we have played that has been an easy three points. I don't think any game is easy for us at the moment. And to think a game will be easy is asking for trouble.
  16. Great news. Can a call up be more deserved than this. Throughout all the problems and chaos going on around him, he has given all he had game after game after game and in whatever position he had been asked to play. No sulking or moaning just giving his best for the team. Well done Andi you are a credit to the game of football. And best of luck.
  17. Nearly as bored as we are of hearing it.
  18. I must be a bit naive but if a team has had the same problem for most of the season isn't it the Manager's job to sort it out. That what he is paid good money for. If he cannot do it then move on.
  19. What has Pearson brought to City. His signings by and large have been either crocks or not Championship ready. The young players have improved because he had play them because most of his signings were injured or hopeless. As for organisation he has failed completely to sort the defence out all season even to defend basic set pieces like corners. How much longer before he takes some responsibility for this shower of shite. This will not be turned around in the sumner window and not by Pearson who seems to live on his reputation not on what his football team is producing each week.
