I have a feeling that Manning and Tinnion will leave the club this week. JL won't want to take responsibility, so he'll lay this all at Tinnion's door, and say he has to act. The only way we can sack Manning, is if Tinnion is sacked as well. I think Lansdown ill take action by Monday morning.
That would mean Steve Lansdown admitting he was wrong. And we all know his arrogance is such that he will do anything to avoid that. Even to the detriment of the club and supporters. The bloke doesn't give a shit about the club or it's supporters. So it will not happen. Didn't he once say judge me on Tinnion. Well you were wrong the first time and are still wrong now.

Passion has surely got to be a key ingredient of any manager/coach. Yet Manning seems devoid of both. How he can show none and pass an interview shows if it needed to just how unfit the Lansdowns are to make any football decisions. And how the ones they have made continues erode our management and team. This can only go one way and that is relegation this year or next. And by then the Lansdowns will have eroded the fan base as well.

Have Steve Lansdown as the owner

Why Manning has left Sykes LHS and put Mehmeti RHS I cannot understand - Manning is clueless.
Any Manager who has Mehmeti in his squad let alone playing is beyond hope.

Manning is a disaster. One of Lansdown's worst appointments and there have been some bloody awful ones.

It’s always been overhyped as a derby I think. The fact that the fixture almost never sells out tells you how much it really matters.
Well that certainly hasn't been the case in the past. There used to be a cracking atmosphere both home and away. And it meant a lot to players and supporters. But the effect of Manningball is like an anaesthetic. No fire , no passion on the pitch.

At home too. I’m not one for giving spots on the bench away, but Nelson?
Cannot understand why you would not give some encouragement to the Academy whenever possible.

Ipswich, West Brom and Leicester coming up in March. I think we really could do with a win today. Although I am doubtful we will get it.

I rarely missed a Pearson interview, his knowledge and experience made them enjoyable, interesting and informative. And the way he would deal with stupid questions was always worth a watch. Sad to say I don't watch Manning's interviews at all now. Wishy, washy and meaninglessness from someone who is not producing the goods on the pitch and has not got the experience or calibre of Pearson. Goodness knows where this will end.

Can have the best head coach/manager in the world and they would hit a limit of what they could get out of a lower mid table Championship squad.
Also should expect Liam Manning to get a hell of a lot more out of the current City squad.

I have wondered how much Manning will use the Academy. He doesn't seem to have much use for them at the minute. Is this a case he has a stronger squad than NP or has little interest in using their players. And the signing of 3 young midfielders for next season suggests that there will be no room for Academy midfield players. Ironically the fact we have a proven pathway to the first team was a key factor in beating other clubs to their signings. At the very time when Manning may be not using it.

If we were to relegate Stoke at their place last game of the season...let's just say I wouldn't expect Stoke fans to be shaking our hands after
I remember when we could have relegated Birmingham at Ashton Gate. But usual City we rolled over and showed minimal fight. If Stoke need to beat us to stay up then would be guaranteed survival.

Last game of the season is away to Stoke City. A bit of a doomsday scenario, nevertheless, it could be that we need points from this game to avoid relegation.
With a dozen games of the season left we are nine points ahead of Stoke (who currently occupy 22nd place.) This is simply by virtue of our 12 wins opposed to their 9 wins (we have both drawn 8.)
Given our last couple of performances/results, against teams in the relegation zone, we just could get dragged into a survival fight and our final game could be crucial to both teams.
Just for added giggles we were, of course, 2 up against the Potters at Ashton Gate and lost 2-3.
I must admit when posters say we will end up mid table and we are playing this poorly I do wonder. Strikers that are simply not fit for purpose, lack of creativity in midfield and now shipping goals with some poor defending. And a lack of fight. I will be very happy to finish mid table but think we will keep sliding down the table.

Took my two lads to the game. As we were walking to the park saw a Charlton fan being arrested. His face was a real mess. He was complaining his nose was broken and he had done nothing. But it didn't seem to impress the police. In the van he went.

Looks to me that we're right near the top with 4 long term injuries (Atkinson & Bell expected return dates need updating)
Interesting that Ipswich have no injuries listed. Haven't they got the bloke who was blamed for record levels of injury when with us.

Great player for us. Great tackler. If my memory serves me right he got badly injured at West Brom along with Micky Bell. Two hammer blows for us. And the Ref played loads of added time until Lee Hughes got the equaliser. An awful day in our battle to avoid relegation.

Well it never lasts long with City. The pride in the win over Southampton. The feeling we were actually progressing and maybe becoming a force. Back to normal today. Although it is half expected when you support City. I still find it really disappointing.
