It's always a wankathon for whichever team we're playing on Sky.
Is it any wonder? Perhaps our opponents give their fans something to stroke over.

I don’t think Bakinson has any urgency and he annoys me. Looks to play good through balls, but rarely executes them.
Massengo however is a very good player. I bet you anything you like he moves onto a better team than us.
To be fair it looks like most players end up doing well once they leave the club. Most recently at least.

He's come out with the same rhetoric before and picked exactly the same team as previous
Absolutely this.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Fair play to the manager though as he looks to of found a winning formula. Initially I thought he was a wet lettuce - especially when he took no umbrage to Savage going overboard in their second game.
Can understand why the media have given a bit of stick to Savage but on the other hand take my hat off to him and the main investor.
I do enjoy these documentaries. Proper football.

I’d never think of him as ‘our Gary’ - he doesn’t represent me, his social media posts are pathetic and he takes over £1m a year from BBC licence fees to read off an autocue ...
I suppose if you were offered a million a year to do the same, you’d politely decline?
I would suggest it’s more those who choose to pay him that salary should be questioned.

Or that Morelos chap. Like the look of him
Doesn’t need either. Needs to sort the back four out. Mings is poor.

Bo Andersen finished his career at Sandnes Ulf back in 2012.

Well Im not one to look back but to think we could have had Moyes at AG . Where would we be now?
We probably would’ve ruined Moyes career. He’d be at Morecambe now.

Always told as a kid to let the opposition know you're there with a strong challenge. I know the game has changed a lot but its always nice to see someone get hit in the air (fairly of course)
But like young Louis Britton against Brentford.

Heading up tomorrow in hope rather than expectation. What I do expect is 100% commitment as a bare minimum as whilst we will not be in a good position at the moment, I’m fed up with these limp displays.
Personally would play 4-5-1 but we are limited in options
Bents
Tanner/Kalas/Atkinson/Pring
Weimann/HNM/Vyner/O’Dowda
Scott
Wells
There’s no way that he will go with this as Martin/Bakinson will start.Think Weimann is a waste wide but needs must for this game. Come on City let’s get some pride back as since last international break we’ve been shocking.
Nothing against you here Shuffle - yet when others state how “quality” our squad is and the fact that Pearson should be getting a better tune out of it (which I agree with in some instances) and then we potentially have Vyner at centre midfield I find it laughable. Vyner wouldn’t get in most sides as defender let alone as a midfielder. That shows where we are and the reality of the “quality” within in both our first 11 and squad.

Negativity in the dressing room? Aren’t they top?

If Williams is out longterm then I agree some additional bite in midfield is required. With money tight, I would like us to certainly purchase a winger (preferably left side). Revert to a flat back four, with Pring or Baker over Dasilva whilst persisting with Wells and bringing in Palmer/Scott in behind. Our set up does not currently suit Wells. He needs balls in behind rather than pumped to his head.
It’s going to be a scrap and therefore I’d prefer height and physicality over anything else defensively. Johnson stumbled upon this playing Wright & Mags as his full backs.
Injuries aside…
Bentley
Tanner Kalas Atkinson Pring/Baker
Weimann James Williams LW
Palmer
Wells
Harsh on Massengo as I do think he’s one of our better players but prefer the nous/experience of James and the drive and determination of Williams.- 1

We're still yet to properly replace Brownhill, Webster, Eliasson and Reid so would have those 4 back in a heartbeat. Lloyd Kelly is a good shout, I'd choose between him or Wilbraham (at his best). We are crying out for Eliasson, complete madness to not replace him at the time but everyone was dead set on 3-5-2 so it went under the radar.
Wouldn't touch Bryan with a barge pole. Not good enough at Left Back, regularly gives away goals as he did for Fulham in the prem as well as us and Eliasson had more to his game on the wing.
Wasn’t Eliasson better off the bench though? Would like to know his starts in the games he started.

Semenyo has got better the longer he’s been injured.

Doubts very much creeping in. Unsure who we could galvanise this shit squad though?

Doubts creeping in with Pearson. Struggling to see any green shoots at the minute. Club appears rotten.

Just look at the bench tonight nothing against the younger players but it's weak we've got nobody to change the game.. The squad needs serious investment.
I’m in the Pearson camp (sort of) but didn’t he have time to assess the squad last season and seek out loan deals to further strengthen both the first 11 and squad depth of cash is tight?
-
The level of quality in our squad is so low. We always look like conceding and rarely threaten. Our midfield are passengers, busy doing nothing - don’t offer any protection or anything going forward.
-
Naive from Vyner.

Done well on the ball, and he's battled at times, gets caught positionally, but he's done what he's meant to tonight. Not enough for some OTIBers though.
Be interested to know how many times he’s given it away/pass completion rate for the first half.

We don’t score goals so this is going to be a long watch.

Would like to see Bakinson show some urgency to close down rather than this half hearted rubbish. Hes a big unit but a right fairy.
