  1. Its the floppy hat and the cravat.
  2. Well, he was right. August at the earliest - but could be June 2025, or more likely not at all. Absolutely no way they will get a stadium on that site plus housing, plus giving AlQadi a slice of the cake.
  3. Thats not what you said earlier. You were wrong. Why not just say so, instead of trying to justify what you incorrectly stated ? Over and out.
  4. Yep - founded in 1872. Clearly the oldest football club in Bristol.
  5. These posters has JL written all over them
  6. Its real; https://b-www.facebook.com/groups/2006574102901385/user/708661930 Couple of pics of posters I hadn't seen on there.
  7. WTF is that ! How to give kids nightmares...
  8. 1-3 FT. Conceded the third late on. Big improvement..
  9. On a serious note - does anyone know why they have blokes wandering past the pitch in the rain dressed in just a towel and flip flops ? Why do they have to shower away from the dressing rooms ? Are they renovating the dressing room showers (fat chance) ?
  10. Just when you think that lot couldn't get any more tinpot.......they actually publish that little gem. No editing or "lets do it again" - straight out there ! Brilliant. Marvellous stuff Thanks Pikeys (we know you're reading this thread)
  11. WTF was all that about ? Blokes walking past in towels and flip flops
  12. Problem being, everyone has to sit at a table for table service, no standing allowed. Be a few stiff necks at the end of a game ! But I agree, the big venues would probably be ok.
  13. And that would be the biggest problem imo. With the reduced amount of people in pubs it probably wouldn't be viable - they are nearly full anyway given the current (necesary) restrictions. The days of being packed in to watch England in the Sports Bar or pub raking in the money are long gone and not to return anytime soon.
  14. But pubs can only allow people in according to the social distancing rules with table service. I've been to the pub several times since the new rules have been in place with absolutely no issues and everyone adhering to them. They should be left to manage the rules and their businesses themselves or take the consequences. Often, there are tables with a reserved sign on them and once tables are filled it is no entry until someone leaves (which I've not seen happen yet). I would expect reservations to be introduced if the football was on (it would be mainly locals who would get first dibs I would imagine). There will always be those who take the piss and they should have their licences taken away but it shouldn't be micro-managed imo.
  15. Its a shame that pubs can't broadcast EFL games - I'd certainly be in the pub watching rather than at home.
  16. Those stats are embarrassing and shocking. Its supposed to be a professional league - it obviously is at one level.
