  1. That 11-1 thrashing last season could be eclipsed today. 5-0 down at HT. Whats gone wrong ? They weren't that poor a couple of seasons ago as far as I remember.
  2. I think the post was regarding regularly losing to non-league teams in cup competitions- I don't think this club has ever lost to a non-league club in its entire history. We have a lot to shout about in this regard. Anyway **** 'em.
  3. Chelsea - Oxford beat them last night.
  4. The actual attendance at that game where they took 7k was 6776 which says it all really. https://www.11v11.com/matches/blackpool-v-bristol-rovers-05-may-1990-142972/ It obviously makes them feel good about their club and themselves but it is all rather sad.
  5. They're at it again; It's a shame but if C19 didn't happen we could have taken 3k/4k up there for the opening fixture. Hopefully we'll all be allowed in by the time the final fixture at Blackpool comes along. We can take 7k up there again like we did in 1990, with a similar outcome Weird.
  6. Unfortunately, the mickey mouse cup is drawn out with a group stage before knockout games. So they are still in it - but happily they will have more defeats to come. Isn't that right Pikeys
  7. So the big club with the brilliant support have been beaten by a 4th division outfit at home ? Just checking as that would be most usual - not like them to lose to lower league opposition in a cup game.
  8. Can't see the attendance for us up to lockdown but last season was 21.080. Yes - and Plymouth.
  9. No idea why I went on about FGR - must have been your username OK, last season up to lockdown; Rovers 7348 Plymouth 10338 Swindon 7788 No contest.
  10. FGR average around 2,500 and I can't see them getting much more than that tbh. Not a large catchment area and, whilst its a great success story, not a lot of history. If they can push above 3k in their new stadium, they'll be doing well imo.
  11. Forgot that little beauty. Not only is that tin pottery of the highest order, its obviously a load of bollocks - I suspect that clubs like City spend as much on maintenance every season.
  12. Didn't they have a new canopy over a door ? It was on their website
  13. At least they had a few seasons in the top division in the 80s and won the League Cup.
  14. Self awareness is not their strong point is it. Bless.
  15. They got a few bigger thrashings than that last season. 11-0 was it against Man.city ?
  16. Just returned from holiday abroad and had to wear a mask for the duration of the flight of just under 4 hours - no problem at all. Masks mandatory in all open and enclosed areas except bars/restaurants/beach/pool etc. Although I didn't see the benefit in the open air with no one within 10m, especially in up to 40c heat (which isn't going to be a problem here).
  17. Only a year to go and they'll have the stadium built and moved in - according to Wally Chatting to someone who has an interest in the Fruit Market a couple of weeks ago and he reckons it'll take at least two years for them to find a new place and move in from the time an offer is accepted - only when all businesses have moved out and found land/premises can demolition and building the stadium begin. They would be looking at around five years from time of offer acceptance to having a stadium ready. The costs, considering the complexities of finding land and build costs for the outgoing businesses would be astronomical and have multi-millions tied up for years while the businesses move. Still, its all very simple according to Wally - two years from last August and they're in. They'll be camping out for a few years yet.
  18. Load of bollocks. You don't have a "development squad"
  19. Pre-Season friendlies started already for some; Saturday Bristol Manor Farm 0-4 Pikeys - BMF played the pikeys at 12.00 then another team afterwards using a shed load of players Last night Swindon 3-1 Pikeys
