I only go to a night game with my 2 boys if it’s in the school holidays.The same with the 2 family groups that I go with.

Marvellous Marvin and his gas head crony in chief have introduced the dopey parking zone so it’s a right nause to find parking for some as well.

We had a shocker at brum Saturday as well so I’m not surprised that is was a low crowd.

I love the night games usually and I’m sure until recently (parking zone) the crowds weren’t particularly lower? Perhaps some stato on here can correct me.
 

Anyway a much needed win last night and looking forward to Saturday with our good friends from South London.

I had an album back in late 70’s but could never get Trevor Tainton but seemed to get loads of Joe Royle 4 in fact

Ive already ranted about the Lino but even when we got a goal back we never threatened enough.They did a proper job on us with fake injuries ,time wasting etc and fair play to them for that.

Normally the subs can make a difference but not today.Ah well we go again.

I was at Leicester in the cup on Shem tours and probably saw most of his games.
 

He was one of the most talented players I ever saw wear the red shirt.Tomlins goal against Huddersfield is one of the best I have ever seen in a red shirt.(he however became a ****)

I feel a bit of a fraud coming on after only knowing him since the 89/90 season.

The man is/was an absolute city legend.

Just come in and found out all the football has been cancelled.In a way I expected this.

To then find Bristol are playing Bath at 5-30 tomorrow I find baffling.

Imho it shows the establishment is well and truely alive.

 Come back recently from watching my boy play a friendly up at briz juniors.Her Majesty passed away during the game.We didn’t know but after all watched the tv in the clubhouse and paid our respects.

She was an absolute legend .For me play the game and a minute silence along with the national anthem.

I got it from quick google searches and seeing what the fans of the parent clubs had to say about these players, and the fact I checked out and remembered the loan players they signed from last season and details about them. It is not hard and it does not require extensive knowledge to find out Connor Taylor had almost no experience at that level before signing for them, you can find it on his Wikipedia.

 

But alas, if you know almost anything about Rovers past “Rovers bad hur dur!!” and act like their fans do to us rather than not be stupid you are automatically a secret Rovers fan. It’s quite funny really, if I was one I’d just make an account on here, there’s multiple on here anyway; but it’s a lot more interesting and controversial I imagine to come up with a hypothetical that anyone who gives them credit and doesn’t just say “every player they sign must be dogshit otherwise they wouldn’t sign for them” and then turn around when a player with all of the signs that they were going to do well and look confused; because I’m not stupid.

 

it’s funny, one of the most often pieces of banter and abuse I get from their side is the existence of this forum, more specifically, this thread, and I defend it; I don’t particularly care about it, but if I post on it, I’m not going to act and say stupid things, frankly, because that’s not me; so if you want to go “all players that sign for Rovers must be awful for their level” and then look like a moron when they do things like get the most wins of any of the 92 in 2022, go ahead, but I won’t be saying stupid things like that

Fairly sure we all watched it (briz boys) down the Seymours club in St Philips and plenty of drinks got spilt when the winner went in- what a game .

I think we went the previous season when we lost 4-1 and had great night in Cheltenham via Ashby de la Zouch- great days on the fun bus
