Weve been basically shite for the last 40 years, the time ive been supporting them. Anyone is entitled to feel angry with all the false dawns, signings who have been crap, pathetic management appointments and anyone good having been sold. Im pretty sure there was a widespread positive response when pearson was appointed, but he still cant organise a defence no matter who he brings in. Its not been 3 games, its been 1.5 years that this has been happening. We are at the stage now where its a surprise when we dont lose to a late goal!

We missed the boat on cooper and wilder. Clearly there hasnt been zero to spend, 2 million went on atkinson and tanner, hes signed 3 left footed centre backs, plus baker 2 right backs who cant get a game, and another who was let go in disgrace. And a couple of midfielders who are rarely fit. Wouldnt be a problem is we had the first clue how to defend though!

Thats really interesting,,, does anyone know how bajic is getting on in terms of fitness?

Im at the point now that im thinking selling scott is the only way we can move forward. Obviously some goes in the bank, but it should allow a couple of new signings to improve the squad. Also frees up a place for benarous when hes back.

Agreed, i dont think pring is one of the favourites, he’s obviously an athlete but i expect he will go the same way as lots of others and will be let go.

What did we do with baker and weimann? obviously no matter what you say about lansdown, him acting without class is not something that can be levelled against him, which is where barcelona, as one of the worlds most prestigious sporting organisations is sadly lacking.

Barca is my second team, so ive taken quite a lot of interest in the goings on this summer… they have been, and continue to be horrifically mismanaged. They have recently sanctioned another billion of debt to fix up the stadium, and spent well over 100 million on transfers.. the only good thing is that there seems to be an intent to reduce salaries, which much like city will take several years to achieve as old contracts expire.

I agree, but when lloyd kelly went to bournemouth I understand he went and booked a private jet to fly him and his mrs to dubai… i doubt he regrets moving !

Yep, we have a league 1 attacking midfielder playing right wing back while having wilson and tanner not getting a look in. naismith should have been a top end championship player, but theres no reason to think anyone else coming in will be ready to step in seemlessly, we clearly still cant set up properly defensively.

Yep agree with this, theres still a soft underbelly, so games like a sell out at home to an aggressive sunderland is just begging for them to get a late winner….. hope im wrong obviously.

Problem is We play with less possession, but we arent reliable enough defensively to deal with the other team having the ball more. But if the team is set up specifically to play that way then is it any wonder we struggle!! Semenyo is obviously key to this and without him the plan is even less likely to work

Weimann scott and semenyo are our key players, i dont think the others mentioned are anything other than average championship players, at best.

We are celebrating the fact we have kept most of our squad together, when we finished 17th, and have added 4 new players of which 3 have never played in the championship!

Hes is going to be some player, overshadowed a little by scott last season but such a shame he got that injury,,, will be back stronger and better though!

I was under the impression it was this sort of figure, with hinds coming in at the same time. So much money spent on such little return on so many players.

Im wondering that too, but hes got a lot of credit in the bank cause of who his dad is, but he seems a really likeable lad too.

It doesnt read very well, but if his best option was the irish league at this point, then presumably we were right to doubt whether he could play consistently in the championship
