Two and a half years he has been here, probably the longest tenure in the Championship, he will need a couple more seasons to fulfil his targets, but not sure he will stay that long, he is a stubborn so and so if he has the mind to go he will and won't shift. His stewardship has seen this club put back onto sound footings, the future looks better, however selling your best players will not enhance his confidence.

The problem is not Pearson it is of course SL's holding back, we needed to push on now, keep the likes of Scott if we were to get promoted. Many on here say it was ineveitable Scott would go, and it was given SL's attitude, and the way we are, still the laughing stock, however it is an indication of lack of real ambition.

Typical City we have again been let down, hopefully we will get new owners that want it as bad as the fans do.

Totally agree. This isn’t solely about Scott leaving, it’s what it implies about the clubs genuine commitment to pushing for promotion. You don’t need to be an expert to know you’ll get nowhere if you keep selling the very players who are likely to make that happen.
How can you plan as a manager if your plan includes talented players, who because of that very talent, are then sold.

In an end of season interview with Geoff Twentyman SL said (in response to Geoff asking if players like Scott were sold would that mean Pearson would have money to spend) “what the club earns the club can spend” but that’s not the understanding from a press interview with NP when NP stated that even if they sold Scott it didn’t mean they’d have that to spend. That decision has to have come from SL et al.

So it’s understandable if NP is frustrated.

Who was the last to question Nige? Get the impression that Nige wasn't too sweet on him haha

I think it’s often about the type of questions rather than the person asking them, that might come over as somewhat curt. Although you could argue he’s actually answering the question honestly.

    Thanks lovely.

    It's utterly horrible

If things are chargeable won't be in court til next year more than likely where I'll have to go through it all over again

It's something many people aren't aware of when discussing sv cases  so I brought it up to show what kinda things were involved just to get a little way in to things.

Trauma on trauma. No wonder many don’t/can’t face pursuing it.

It'll be through the Bristol Sport ticketing site as there is a 'Forward Ticket' button on there. However, it's not been officially launched yet, so not possible to do just yet.

As above but I noticed yesterday you can now ✔️ the ⭕️ and the “ forward ticket” banner at the top is now highlighted and not greyed out as it was before.

  5. Hoping someone will help.  To the uninitiated first question, how do you link accounts?

Second, when we come to lend our tickets (when we can’t attend), I know the person borrowing it will need to have a Bristol Sports account. I believe they’ll also need a supporter Id. Would they pay for that or can they simply create an account?

Just for context really going on what's happened in my own on going.

The police did an Achieve Best Evidence interview which lasted an hour and a half

They took forensics of which there was lots

They then have done something like 9.5 hours of video evidence interviews over 2 days which is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do  as it concentrated on forensicly covering the alleged incident in fine detail

There has then been around 40 submissions plus 20 different incidents and 6 different crime investigations.

There is also likely phone and social media and other evidence yet to be collected

There's separate civil action in challenge to a non molestation order.

The case 7 months on has still not reached a charging decision

It might not get to court, if it does it might not be convicted.

In the last 7 months I've overdosed once, been stopped from overdosing once and was cartered away by the police last night because I was likely to do the same again.

I can't get counselling around the specific incident until the police investigation or the case has gone to court. So have to live with that damaging trauma without treatment

The events have caused me life long changes  but there remains the possibility this may not ever get to trial .

It doesn't mean it didn't happen or that the perpetrator is innocent.

It means that due to the way court is set up there may not be the chance of conviction beyond reasonable doubt

Hopefully that gives some indication of how that works.

I’m really sorry about this and can only imagine how awful this has been. I hope things move more quickly and you are able to move on from this.

  7. Just out of interest in regards to allowing others to use our digital tickets now and again. It states that the person (using it in your stead) would have to set up a Bristol Sports account and it said something about being or having linked accounts.  I am wondering can you be linked to more than one account?

I’m thinking could one person receive two forwarded tickets to share with a friend rather than the friend having to also set up an account?

Part of the reason I ask is cos our daughter’s not having any luck getting an account created.

If you log in to the Bristol Sport ticketing site, there is a 'forward' button next to each match ticket. It's currently greyed out but looks like it will be done through there, rather than through the Wallet itself.

I think you’ve mentioned this before but I’ve never found it. Once I’ve logged in where exactly can I see each match ticket?

I believe from what it says in the Q&As that the person will need a Bristol Sports linked account and supporter ID if I’ve read it correctly. So not exactly through the wallet itself but one account to another.

I'm told that if you open your apple phone with face recognition and then double-click the side button the apple wallet will open to your stored credit/debit card which you can then use to pay without messing about anymore.  ????

    Yep tried that. Works? Thanks.

Q&A said instructions on how to forward a ticket will follow, but I would expect it to be via your online account rather than your wallet. I can see a forward ticket button on my account in the tickets section.

I’m not seeing that on mine anywhere.
think the person who will go instead of the actual season ticket holder, will need a Bristol Sports account and will need to link it to the holders account and supporter ID.

Since the man city game we have played 10 games and got 9 points from a possible 30! That is relegation form no doubt yet you appear happy and complain only at the guys doing the pod?

Dubious selection and awful substitutions have contributed to this and yet you complain about the guys doing the pod?

What about the players, management and coaching staff who appear not to know how to arrest this slide in results?

We.dont need a graph to try and tell us all is well, things need and should change quickly

Some of the points raised in the pod are valid some are not, it's people's opinion not everyone is happy when our results are this alarming and nor should they be!

Not actually disagreeing with all points you’ve raised or points raised in the podcast but it’s just the manner in which it’s done.

“No one” is happy with the results but there’s no denying we are playing better and as frenchred says there’s little balance to the comments. Whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, you’d think Ian had managed championship football at some point, inferring he knows better than all of the coaching staff.

  12.  Whilst I understand we once again came away after dominating much of the game without anything to show for it but the podcast was particularly negative.

The commentator thought we’d played better for the majority of the game yet anyone listening to the podcast wouldn’t have known it. I totally agree we’re struggling at the goal end but apart from that you can’t criticise last nights performance.  Certain people always come under the cosh no matter how well they’ve played Weimman in particular. The slagging off of Pearson despite the fact that most fans would agree we’re playing better than for several seasons but there’s no recognition of that.
Mark’s usually very level headed and positive, but for the rest it does get very predictable.

Oh and Ian starting that Cornick “isn’t good enough” is ridiculous . ok that may turn out to be the case, but it’s far too early to say that!

  13. I think the main cause for concern is really about whether the digital aspect will be transferable. I’m sure the club envisaged some members not being happy/able to use a digital entry on their phones and they’ve said cards will be available, so I imagine that’s what they’ll do.

Did a quick look at two prem clubs that have a digital system.  Liverpool have the ability to store names of  friends and family that you can transfer your ticket to.
Tottenham don’t allow transferring. (Tottenham under “ Don’t”).

So I think it really will be a case of us waiting and seeing

  14. I remember this quite clearly.  The player you see running off to the right, is actually guilty of performing a cynical tackle whenSykes was very obviously away,  that player runs to the right at that point, in effect Sykes then actually takes it out on the other (the innocent) player.
     Just pure frustration.

City’s IT system has improved! For renewal, instead of having to do the usual log on process on the Bristol Sport website, the link in the text message I received took me directly to the page where I renewed. City are finding quicker ways of taking your money

Were you given the option of having a card “or” digital?

Just go to the planner and click record on the main game on Sky Sports Football, and you'll get the option of which game to record (you sometimes have to go to the 'on this week' tab).

Annoyingly this doesn't always work (hence my post above to flag that it's working for once...).

Just followed your suggestions found it in “On this Week”. Pressed Record. All fine when I checked on Scheduled.

Just went to check something now and noticed the game has disappeared from, On this Week?

Just increased the price again, there will come a time when people think with all the free channels available now and internet do I really need it? when I first subscribed in 1989 (yes really) it was £10 a month for everything, films all sports even including world championship title boxing fights they are close to causing a lot of people to unsubscribe espcially with all the rising living costs.

SAme as you £10 a month for everything. When our bill was going up again, we rang and said we were leaving. We ended up with more than we had and are currently paying half that.

Mind you don’t know what we’d have done if they’d said “ok” bye!! ?
