Not as good as Kalas better than Atkinson and Vyner. On a par with Klose. Good touch, vision, good passer. But no pace - that’s why he is a free from Luton. Will play better along side Kalas they may even be good enough to play 4 at the back so we can get another one in the middle. Could possibly do the pack role of sitting in from the back 4 if we don’t get another midfielder in - Can’t play him with Williams and James as not enough pace across the 3.

The group is much better now with very little ‘dead wood’ so hopefully he is now prepared to bring them in. If he does not do that then we are going to be in and around the bottom 6 all season.

Bentley close to best keeper we have ever had and very lucky to have him.

It’s opinion not advice but also said above I think Nige probably knows/thinking most of the above. Back to opinions - agree or disagree ?

Got to work harder against better teams - the only problem is every team seems to be better Squad not big/good enough so Nige does not trust the bench to make subs.

Agree with every point. Said we are a bottom 6 team because of 9 and 10 and nothing I have seen suggest otherwise. Are best 11 needed improving and so far only at RB have we improved. Hopefully the last few jigsaw places will be sorted using loans and or maybe a small fee (we need at least 3) I am hopefully that if we get the right players in then things will look a lot better. Stick with Chris Martin and we are nailed on for relegation.

Not much more to leave - Wells and Maybe Massengo if we get an offer and that’s it. Not sure what is going on with Baker pretty sure will just run the contract down. I would also let JD go if we get a replacement. Not sure about Vyner where he stands after today. As you said it’s not that easy to do with player wages etc.. Send Bell, Conway, Max and even maybe even Tanner out on loan and we should be able to do that.

Not easy to bring in the players because of circumstances. I think Nige probably seems something similar and I am sure he will add at least another 2 or 3 if he is allowed

1. Play 4 at the back and a extra man in midfield 2. Sign a midfielder who will go straight into the team 3. Get a striker on loan to replace Chris Martin - Needs a bit of pace to be able to turn the opposition. If he ain’t going to play Wells which for ever reason he won’t we are sorely lacking upfront (before any says it - Conway is not the answer) 4. Be prepared to play Wilson or Sykes as wide of a front three or just sign a winger on loan we need pace (Seymour will help when back) And if we could get a decent left back who is over 5 10 (Maybe Pringle could do the job) I understand money is tight but we need to use the loan system to just give the squad the balance it needs. With the right additions we would half a decent squad. Scott, Seymeyo, Wilson, Williams, Kalas, Bentley, Wiemann plus maybe 3 additions plus the squad players would surely give us enough to stay the right side of the top half this year. There is little dead wood in the squad Nige has done a good job it’s just not enough coming in the other end.

We are at least 4 players short in terms of signings. Give him the tools are he will do a good job. We have been short of 1 midfielder for a at least 12 months then Bakinson goes so that makes 2. We have no frontman with pace to play through the middle.(Syemenyo better wide in front 3) Also probably need a centre half with pace. The plates coming in have been ok - but that’s it but what do we expect for ‘Frees’ We are just the other side of having a decent team it just needs maybe 3 players - but they have to come in a be ‘starters’ Then give him 20 games and judge him.

Did ok for 45 mins Always takes one touch to many either does not listen, not clever enough or not coached enough either way it’s stoping him getting the next level - Bottom half championship team and that is exactly where he is. But he does carry the ball forward and creates momentum which we lack in midfield. Also very little competition - we are at least 2 light in midfield

Kalas and Wells both top end championship players. Wells only fault is he never gets a game - not sure really what he has ever done wrong other than being payed to much money Is he better than Conway - Yes Kalas our best defender - Yes ** let’s see Naismith first for a few games before we say he is better than Kalas. Lot of talk on here about talking and organising and agree to a point but I don’t put it before the skill and quality of the player. Dave F said he was a good talker but do I want he I’m the team….

Agree so a bit better in terms of ability but a lot better in terms of leadership. Not a big improvement on the player front but maybe in the dressing room which is important.

Naismith makes squad better. Bettet than Kalas, Atkinson, Klose ? Not much in it for me. Sykes will likely be on the bench post Seymenyo coming back Again makes squad stronger but not 1st 11

I will guarantee - Wilson is nailed on to play. James and Willams will start. Naismith will start Rest as per last season Its just Scott or Sykes up for grabs to replace Symenyo. Wells will be on the bench. Pre - Season has been geared up for this starting line up. Don’t see to may surprises in the team for Hull.

Just being honest. Happy to stay in the championship and a decent cup run would be good. After our best 11 we lack depth. We lack a bit in midfield and pace to really improve to much on last season. Playing 3 at the back is more about the lack of quality in midfield and I think we need the extra legs in there otherwise I fear we will get over run in to may games. Need to see the first few games to see if there is any major change. Hopefully will get a decent start but for me nothing has really changed from last season. We have got rid of players who weren’t playing anyway and brought in just Wilson to improve the starting 11.

I would say fairly confidently we will not trouble the playoffs. Again not a great division but finances have dictated our ability to sign players this year. We have improved RB but not anywhere else. So we can only really expect a small improvement. Hopefully will not get into a relegation battle and there will be at least 3 worst teams. Rotherham and Brimingham and maybe reading but after that I am struggling a bit. 5th from bottom looks about right. As long as we stay in the championship it will be a good season. This is a decent standard with some big clubs and games we should be happy at where we are at the moment considering the problems we currently have.

Will not be missed. They will surley look to move him next summer when then get past his good 3 or 4 games at the start of the season and then stops running and just walks about the pitch like he can’t be bothered.

He was not brilliant today. He was ok. Did some good stuff - Yes a goal and assist was a good return. Hes touch and decision making we’re off today. 5 mins from being taken off before his goal so not brilliant. Critical to the way we play - Yes completely agree he gives an outlet and carries the ball and the team up the pitch. Worth he’s place - Yes definitely impacted the game today. Take him out the team - No have not said that ever - read my thread at the start of this. Would I have subbed him before his goal - Yes MoM - No. Williams and Bentley were outstanding. I am not on a high horse just saying what I see
