  1. You were lucky I did not take the bet. For the record ‘6’ league goals this season… They do say a fool and his money are easily parted…. Thanks for the feedback as always.
  2. I did wonder when this would be revisited. And he ‘Never’ did score 10 goals in a season so I guess as painful as it is I was ‘right’….. I did say I would change the post once he gets 10 goals in a season. I am sad to see him go. We will miss him? Yes He is the only player who takes us up the pitch a bit like Albert used to do. Runs at players and creates space and opportunities. Had power and pace. We def need a player who can do that. Harry Cornick is a good player and happy to see him join but he is not that player and we do need one. £10m is great business for the club. Will he be a success in the Premier league and score goals don’t think so - I am sure I will get reminded of that but still it’s about opinions. Good player for us ? No…. a great player for us on his day and as I think has been said not many players get you of your feet. He’s a player who can do it at the highest level ? Not for me as a striker. As wide in a front three (read my first post) yes maybe but premier is a massive step up. Was he better than I first saw? - Yes massively improved Has he scored more goals than I thought he would - Yes Did he get 10 - No Would he have done it this season - Maybe yes and I think I might have had to change the post like I said I would. Seymenyo ‘maybe’ he is a Striker they score goals. Genuinely gutted he’s left but it’s good for him and the club. I will be watching him and hoping he proves me wrong (maybe we got a add on for more that 10 goals a season)
  3. Thanks for taking time to put photos up. Always enjoying looking at them post the game Not been to the new ground and was planning to go until they changed the start time. Looked a goId day out
  4. Yes - Commenting on the fact that I posted 7 days ago mistakes he keeps making and again those mistakes are made again tonight. Thats it really
  5. Yes I did. Posted it 1st Nov Not sure what you mean.
  6. Poor team selection Poor result At least 7 of the starting line up are L1 standard. Why are we so surprised. Bad management today. He got it wrong and we have paid the price. Chis Martin & Andy King in any starting line up is just asking for trouble We have a poor squad we know but then why leave players on the bench for a game we wanted win. Most players have a month off after Saturday so why rest them. We look like a bit of a joke tonight. Gutted really and just so sad we are in this position.
  7. No 1 - Fail Why are we resting him ? 1 game in the next month No 2 - Fail Can’t believe he is even on the pitch enough said No 3 - Fail - Vyner better option if not playing him at CB where he should be No 4 - Fail - Pring is so much better No 5 - Fail Bentley not even good enough tonight contract issue or not - Joke I can’t put my finger on why it’s not going well tonight. New mistake to add 6 - Playing Andy King
  8. Max Vyner Klose Pring Williams James Scott Seymenyo Wiemann Wells Conway Maybe this line up if we keep 352
  9. Maybe you could just offer an opinion…. Thanks for the compliment though it’s appreciated. Arrogance - it’s just a few simple thoughts
  10. I thought we played well tonight and we were actually the better team so this is not about the game tonight. Also to be clear I like NP and I am not asking for a change in manager but.. 5 Simple mistakes that I am not sure why he keeps making. I also think he is now costing us points. 1. Nakhi Wells needs to stay on the pitch when we are chasing a goal. Effort is brilliant, team contribution is brilliant and a goal scorer at this level. Bringing on Sam Bell Saturday for him was a crazy decision and taking him off tonight was equally as bad. 2. Chris Martin should never be brought on when we are chasing a goal. Slows game down. We go long and lose our pattern and shape up front literally kills any chance of a goal. I would happily let him go on a free in Jan and pay some of his wages just to get someone else in. 3 Sykes is not a wing back - I think Tanner would be better 4 JD is not a wing back - Pring would be better. Seen enough in the last 2 games re 4 and 5 to think both would do a better job. Delivery has been poor from both most games and Skye’s could be better used as a sub in a more forward position. Both Tanner and Pring are also better defenders than both. We also played Scott there which was ridiculous to waste him in that position when clearly needs to play in the central role in Midfield. Wilson never got a chance and he is a natural wingback again madness. Wiemann played there tonight - that is also ridiculous. Nige has to sort out wingbacks it’s a problem he has had all season. And finally 5. Playing Max in goal. I know controversial but Bentley makes game saving saves. Max has not done to bad in fairness but I also don’t think he has had a lot to do at the same time. Bentley will win you points Max has not done that for me when he has played. We need to get points at the moment and Bentley will win you more than Max. Maybe this is about his contract but I think it’s costing us points. Again not about tonight as thought we were good value for at least a point if not all three.
  11. No one And YES it is. And as such opinions should be respected rather than people making it personal. Read the threads - I think you are aiming the post at the wrong person.
  12. Only trying to forge a conversation (that’s the whole point of OTIB). Not really proved wrong - read my original post. I have not changed my opinion. Its still relevant as he ain’t scoring. As I said if he gets 10 in a season I will change the thread. Again thanks for feedback but it’s still a long way away from a contribution but keep going. As for ridiculous - Thanks again for the feed back. Playing 442 - Yeah it’s like so ridiculous where did I get that from. Playing Bentley in goal, Naismith in midfield, Wells & Wienmann up front, Vyner RB, Seymenyo wide in midfield who can also join upfront, Pring at leftback, Kalas at CB…. Shall I go on - like you say ridiculous…. And and one more Seymenyo is better wise rather than a striker because I don’t think he will score 10 a season. All way of the mark… Ridiculous - me. Just have a little think before you post. PS C7 look at his record - Striker Yes Seymenyo look at his record - Striker No (not yet) Hope that helps. Again thanks for feedback.
  13. Far enough and yes agree you would look to turn the ball over when we attack likely with 1 or 2 a little to far forward. Put Vyner in as I think he deserves the shirt at the moment but not against Tanner coming in. Scott would be involved to move in and act as a floating 10 as long as he tucks back in when we don’t have the ball. He works hard so don’t see that being a problem. Both Scott and Seymenyo can break the lines something no of midfielders ever do. We far to static in the middle.
  14. Maybe if he did we be in a better place. Also injuries at CB means he feels he has needed extra cover in there. Now he has a fit squad when Kalas and Naismith back he may have that option
  15. I was trying to do exactly that. Trying to get the ‘best 11’ on the pitch we have in positions they should be comfortable in. Also if don’t play well someone to come in and do a job pretty much in same position. 352 does not work for us. We don’t have 2 wingbacks and we look light in midfield most games. Seymenyo and Scott have the energy to get forward and can also track back. It looked a fair team to me. it does show where we are light when you look at replacements Centre back and Centre are both areas where 1 or 2 injuries and we are big trouble.
  16. Pring should be left back and Vyner on the right. Seymenyo on the left in front of Pring. Again - Clueless thank. But really if the above is clueless then really I do wonder who is clueless.
  17. Again better. ’But’ if he was scoring goals the thread and your opinions would not be being raised. I am only quoting the ‘facts’ I love you say they suit me agenda. That’s kind of it works… Goal post never changed - Just read the title of the thread. Again better but still some work to do.
  18. Best 11 players for me in 1 team Also means competition for places much stronger pretty much all over the pitch. Full backs - JD Tanner Wilson CBack - Klose Midfield - James, Massengo, Sykes Upfront - Conway and Martin Also plenty of movement for changes within the team Lots of interchange into positions they know. Bentley Pring Atkinson Kalas Vyner Naismith Williams Scott. Seymenyo Weiman Wells Clueless - Thanks What about what you ‘think’ why not add some thoughts rather than clueless.
  19. That is slightly better. Try to just reflect and comment on the subject rather than Kai throwing out insults. But still it’s an improvement if you look at your comments are still only 20% ‘opinion’ so a long way to do. Again thanks for feedback and the improved contribution and comment. As for scoring goals it’s zero in eight….
  20. But did they… In our position £10m and he would have been gone.
  21. We could even play 442 play him wide on either side. Sykes could give him some completion. We could play an actual Right and Left back. It would would create a lot competition for places maybe 2 players for every position.
  22. Need his passing that’s for sure
  23. He may have been player there but that don’t make who one. JD is playing as a wingback… And Sykes for that matter. Also Scott played there. David James once played upfront for Man City. Swallow and Summers and all that..
  24. Not Striker. For me he would be so much better wider and his pretty good now he help the team out.
