Just watched the Vyner interview. Got some bloke holding the microphone. Spotted a hand about 10 minutes in . Surely they can put a couple of microphones on the table. Seems so amateur

Been the same for ages, I'm more surprised you can hear the actual questions. I generally stopped watching them because they were done so poorly, previous ones I have watched I had to go back and turn up the volume to hear the question. Non league pressers must be more professional than ours.

Pearson was kind of lined up and that took 5 days to sort. Need a bit of patience, especially if it's someone in a job.

Could they have their man already, but they are just giving us peasants the perception that they've been doing their due diligence AFTER Pearson has gone, lengthy process etc etc.

If they came straight out and unveiled a new man on Mon/Tues everyone will know for a fact that they've gone behind Pearsons back whilst he was still here. Even though it is obvious that is what has happened, they will want everyone to think they haven't done that?

    Pure speculation mind.

See we're still on the 'classy' responses

Maybe go and have a read back at your own responses to fellow City fans.

Passive aggressive, condescending at every opportunity, and quite frankly no better than what you are accusing others of.

I had hope that they’d finally realised they needed someone who knows the game, will speak his mind and is clearly not a yes man.  They clearly couldn’t deal with it and I can’t see them risking that again.

    Clueless tossers

This reminds me of a place where I used to work. Owner was overall pretty clueless but the business was making decent money (it really could and should have been a hell of a lot more). The owner then wants to make more profit, so all the management come up with ideas, R&D, more streamlined production planning, nope they don't like any of it. Next bright idea, get some consultants in for some ideas.... They go through all the processes and staff, want to change the way the business is currently working. Owner doesn't like the consultants now, they say too much and basically criticise how the business currently runs. So after spending tens of thousands for some new, bright ideas the owner is back to square one where the only way forward is "I know more than them and we will do it my my way".

The attitude just reminds me so much of Lansdown and this club.

Just bloody own your decisions - say Pearson was hard to work with, he didn't do things the way the club wanted, he wouldn't accept a lack of control, whatever it was. Stop this naval gazing bollocks with your stupid corporate hat on and explain ffs.

    This.

I think many would begrudgingly accept something along those lines, still many wouldn't. But it would certainly be easier than the JL and Tinnion "interviews" earlier.

It really doesn’t, the bookies are just saving themselves, they might of had the nod somthings close

The betting isn't even suspended, he's also been readily available at 1/2 with Betvictor for the last hour or so. Nobody has been trying to bet him at 1/2 as he would've been cut in price.

    It's Eustace.

It may well be, but Hughton was 1/8 I think previously and didn't come. There have also been a few very long odds on managers that never got appointed, a few on Betfair have been 1/33 and even a 1/100 and still never happened.

If 1/6 was guaranteed then go and shovel on as much as possible and get a quick 17% on your money (mind you they will probably only let you have about £300 max unless you have a mug account)!

    Yep exactly that.

It appears we have some key players returning to training this week which makes it even harder for me to accept this decision. I fully believe Nige would have had us cooking again.

If Nige was in charge and we did beat Wednesday and then got a result against QPR they would have found it very difficult to get rid of him.

I honestly believe they were probably preying that Cardiff beat us, and then there wouldn't be such a backlash against them.

If it’s Eustace then they clearly made their minds up just after he got sacked and just needed an excuse to sack Nige and jumped on a couple of losses in an injury depleted squad

Probably made their mind up after they beat us in August, maybe thought "we can do a Birmingham"

This game might depend on whether Wednesday players get paid!

This is probably a huge help for us, not paid and still have to play.

Let's hope they are the ones who down tools when we go 1 up early, and then let the board have it from all parts of the ground.

I really fear for the youngsters especially if we go behind and the atmosphere does get toxic and they take it that the fans are against any of them.

How do you make statements like in these two videos about style of play etc and then decide to talk to Rowett?!

Have you seen who we have running this club.

May as well say it now.

Welcome to THE club Gary Rowett.....

  12. The Tinnion interview just looks to me like he is trying to remember what he HAS to say for his answers, none of it is free flowing answers whatsoever. Also seems to me that he's basically saying Rennie has had to take the blame and responsibility for the injuries we have and that is due to Pearsons training.

I assume Tins and Jon only agreed to the pathetic questioning with no follow ups, the interviewer should be gone too if he has agreed to that complete nonsense.

  13. They must really be preying for wins against Wednesday no matter who is in charge, because there is no way they expected this backlash.

I fear for the youngsters on the pitch on Saturday if we go behind, it could get so toxic and they may take it personally.

One last narcissistic comment, if they improve their position it is because of him, if they do nothing then it's the next blokes fault.

How are they better off than when he joined? They have a squad with loads of players on their last payday waiting to retire, loans, and only one player that seems to be worth anything at all going by reports. Their wage bill is no doubt the highest they've ever had, and at the end of the season they have to start another seasonal rebuild.

They are in a terrible position, and it will be interesting to see their finances when it comes to FFP.

Must remember a different player to me.

Debut would have been around 2017, soon followed up with a red card. And about 2 seasons later he scored his first goal.

Like Yeboah, he was raw with loads to learn.

In no way would I describe him as instantly Premier League material.

My worry at the moment is that Yeboah isn't having a positive impact on games when he comes on, and whilst we are short of attacking players he is one of the few options, I don't want to see a young player get destroyed because they aren't currently up to the task, but in 18 months could possibly be outstanding.

I can only assume you missed my attempted sarcasm. The point is plenty said he would never make it due to everything I described, but given time he did. Will Yeboah be the next Semenyo, probably doubtful but nobody knows that yet.

Yeboah needs to be given some time, and he still may not make it, but if management thinks he can make it with us then my faith would be with them rather than a few on here who has wrote him off.

So we buy a player for roughly £1m was it? played him in a couple of games, but hit or miss, has a whole pre-season for Pearson to get him integrated in the team and the way he wants him to play and can’t?

So it’s either the recruitment of the wrong mentality player or Pearson isn’t coaching him well enough?

If that’s the case I’m not surprised SL is reticent in giving NP £20m to spend.

Mehmeti hasn't worked out for us yet (and may never do), so that's a great reason to not give Pearson another penny to spend. He's shopping in the lower leagues because he hasn't been given the money to spend on proven players.

I am really lost on what some think Pearson should be achieving with what he has been given.

Yeboah has looked miles off it too unfortunately.

I mean when Semenyo came in and around the first team he looked Premiership class instantly..... I swear I read he couldn't trap a bag of cement, he would never score goals and basically he wasn't up to it...probably by the same posters having a pop at Yeboah.

He will be erratic, he will be a bit headless, he will try too hard at times, he won't have the composure of senior players, he may also never make it, but FFS he is 17.
