I think it's really nice of Bournemouth to keep going along with this story myself - maybe they had a bit of a discount for that.
I read from one poster that anyone who thought Scott was injured was living in cloud cuckoo land.
Also have to love how people know what Pearson, Lansdown and players actually think from one comment or one tweet, it's quite comical at times. -

I'm more baffled at the people on this forum gayly wishing him his best as though he's not an opposition player now. Will never understand it personally.
Bit bizarre.

Am I reading too much into the fact it’s Lansdown giving a statement and not Nige/Tinnion/Alexander?
Maybe

You can really tell the connoisseurs from the idiots on these forums
Hang on a minute - that says he's injured. That cannot be right as Pearson has been telling porkies hasn't he.

I know his wages will be a massive step up from us but don’t get this Bournemouth thing
12,000 max home gates , pretty poor away support , no real football vibe in Bournemouth it all feels a bit safe to me
I said the same with Antoine & Kelly , think he could have done better myself and the other 2 , still prem I suppose though .
Don't they play away at a few larger grounds too?
It's Prem football, probably 50k per week, playing in possibly the best League in the World against some unbelievable teams & players. It is also a massive opportunity to perform in front of millions of football fans and then take another big step in his career.
We also have to face facts that nobody else have really came in for him, so he cannot exactly just turn up and start playing for Man City.- 2

Well done Cornick....

To be fair, cornick had half a season last year and wasnt exactly ronaldo then either!
Were you expecting Ronaldo then? There were excuses for last season, surely he deserves some sort of chance this season after a full pre-season.
I am not saying he is going to be a world beater for us either, but he's managed to play Championship football for Luton for a few seasons consistently.

Got to love the negativity on here sometimes.- 6

I don’t think you can say Pearson is full of BS. He just said that Scott had a knock on his knee in mid week; it’s ok but need the swelling to go down.
The one in the know on here regarding transfers said yesterday he was definitely injured and not a stunt.
Scott could still be gone next week, but it also doesn't mean he isn't injured now though, no doubt if he is gone this conspiracy theory will soon be known as fact. -

Serious question. Producing a version for blind people and then charging them a fiver extra for the shirt, isn't that a clear and obvious breach of the equalities act?
It's a wonderful gesture to bring attention to this cause but to be clear while there is no obligation for a replica shirt to cater to the visually impaired, once you've done so charging extra for access to it would seem to be in breach of Sections 15, 19 and no doubt others in the Equalities Act (2010).
It would be very sad if this PR backfires.
I don't think they really go a lot on checking "rules and regulations" tbf.

How many posts are showing "we can't bare it"? It's been a constant pisstake for those 6 pages, I haven't seen a single post worried about them, it just seems to be the same as last time, they think it's another billionaire coming to take them past us ,and yet we can say with pretty much certainty it isn't.

Nothing will top that for me either. I was laughing so hard at work yesterday reading all the comments, I had to explain myself to my staff. As Americans, I had to start with the basic stuff, the football pyramid, relegation and promotion, derby matches, etc... but once i laid the foundations and started telling them all the funny rovers stories I could think of, I had them all in stitches as well.
They also got some issues with that as well.

Haha, looks at Gas Chat, they say these are his companies https://www.foodco-kw.com
3 restaurants, of which one is a franchise... (Quiznos is like another version of a Subway in US).
Bought in for 'expertise' so sounds like the food offerings at Membley are going up a notch.
Are we sure he hasn't been brought in to sort out those cheesy chips, out of date crisps and the fake fanta?

I am surprised he never ended that with "we took over 40,000......."- 5

There is a balance (as opposed TO Balance sheet) tbh. Reckon we are a couple to few million within the 3 ywar loss limit to this upcoming season and remember next year we will a) Have the £28.5m loss drop off to be replaced by last seasons much lower starting point and b) I believe TV money in the Championship is set to rise by several million do thst is a positive swing in our favour that we can utilise so long as we are careful and walk the line.
On the flipside if we don't, loopholes have been slowly but surely closed so if we got into a huge hole that required say a stadium sale we would be stuffed.
I am not disputing for one moment that money wouldn't or couldn't be available without affecting FFP etc. What worries me is we still have posters/fans who think we should never sell anyone like Webster, Kelly, Brownhill, Reid, Bryan, Semenyo etc etc and we are not ambitious enough as we are a selling club. Where do these people think we would be without selling them.
I still hear from some people (not on here) that Lansdown don't spend enough, isn't ambitious enough, what players we should just go out and just buy, what players we should never sell, these same people will still moan that NP over the first couple of years never did enough without even realising the situation he/we were in.- 4

All clubs will sell when it suits their needs, a “selling club” is one whose whole financial plan is to produce young players and sell them for a profit. The latter is what, in my opinion, you described.
As a football fan I want to support a club who try and win something, rather than just concentrate on their balance sheet.Bring back Ashton and LJ, I mean let's not worry about that balance sheet, what could go wrong.

It seems that they think its all about numbers, chuck in any old shite as long as there is a lot of it - regardless of the relevance.
They do like to pump out numbers that are always incorrect, 40,000 at Wembley, the locked out numbers, home support, away support, 12000 regularly etc etc etc.

Back in the day it was the complete opposite though. Nearly full ground but literally thousands less being announced, someone was definitely on the fiddle.
