Huddersfield and Birmingham still have to play each other.

Basically to be mathematically safe tomorrow we need to win. A draw would be pretty much guaranteed safety as long as Weds lose at home to Norwich as Huddersfield and Birmingham would have to draw their game and win all their remaining games whilst turning around a huge goal difference.

In reality we’re already safe. Without Reading’s points deduction last season QPR would’ve gone down on 49 points and I can’t see that total being needed this season.

Of course....we could get a points deduction for fouling FFP !:shocking:

I remember Dickie Rooks but had to look him up on Wikki for the details. Alan Dicks signed him for £17k which was quite a lot of money for City in the 60s. Looking back AD made some shrewd signings during his time as manager

The same summer (69) he signed Speedy Drysdale for £10k .

For anyone who is available to attend the funeral is at South bristol crem on monday 22nd April at 1245.

Sorry to ask, but what sort of age would she have been ?

Christ. I forgotten about that tomorrow.

Means I have to get up and move the car back 4 feet so I can limit the parking in BS7.

Doesn't do a lot, but a mild inconvenience is the least I expect of myself.

It'd be rude not to !

Dennis Smith managed both clubs (at different times in 1991/92; When John Lumsden was dismissed, Dennis Smith was appointed manager. He was recommended by Brian Clough of Nottingham Forest and had guided Sunderland into the first division two years ago, but he had been sacked after the defeat at Ashton Gate in November.

I can remember DS being introduced to the race going public at Bath (being current City boss ) as " former Sunderland manager and Stoke player"............no mention of being head honcho at City, we were left with the feeling that was how he'd like to be remembered, very strange !

  6. I think Lansdown was doing ok till he decided to become a tax exile . Being away from the hub and letting a string of inept ambassadors run everything into the ground has let him live the maxim, NOT Absence makes the heart grow fonder, more Out of sight out of mind !

Ipswich have a relatively poor defence and he is a big part of that. Quality going forwards, shortcomings defensively.

But Ipswich are so Spawny. Morsi did enough to pick up two yellows 1st half, Southampton get an incredibly dubious red, and a scrambled winner. Not sure where they are right now with ffp but assume they need to go up now as they are punching above their quality and got to feel its a bit  now or never for them.

Ben Bloom (Ipswich Vlogger) admits that they have courted "lady luck" many times this season !

I was more referencing players getting a quick head up and not being able immediately pick out a player especially on a longer pass. I’d also made reference to some of the research done on the psychology and visual benefits of different colour shirts rather than something to make a few quid in the club shop with. To my mind White would have been a better away shirt for today.

I would always go with white. I used to hate it when City were in all red and the other team were in, say, all blue...........nightmare for me !
