Both teams in green of some sort. Plus our passing suggests the players can’t see one another clearly. And this yellow kit is utter shite
I am visually impaired and colour blind and I have absolutely no problem in telling them apart .

A bizarre thing to be wound up by. Surely someone’s life is more important than the last 15 minutes of a football match?
As bizarre as fretting about our yellow kit ?

Someone could fake being ill to call a halt, and don't think it wouldn't/couldn't happen !

I recall a Man U away shirt that was changed at half time in a game because the players couldn’t see one another with the crowd backdrop.
I can only comment on the TV pictures I’m watching, but from a tv perspective the away shirts do not stand out that well. Is that going to be the same for a player who is getting a momentary head up?
Dreadful away kit
IF all we had to worry about was choice of kit we'd be doing ok !

Weymouth v Yeovil suspended on 75 minutes with Weymouth 1 up due to a medical emergency in the crowd. Ambulance on the pitch according to Sky.
This really gets on my tits , never used to happen !

Our opening effort is as insipid as our clashing away kit.
Sorry, how is it clashing Green v Yellow, don't matter about shorts, be more clashing wearing red !

Didn't Ian Matthews die twice? The first time was when his obituary was printed in a national daily and he wrote back to say his demise had been greatly exaggerated.
No that was Dave Swarbrick,I've still got a signed copy of his Times false obit !

The only Fairport drummer I can name is Dave Mattacks....and only because he had the drum stool for an XTC LP (Nonsuch). I take it then that Dave wasn't FCs first drummer?
No Shaun Frater, then the tragic Martin Lamble (killed in the 69 van crash) THEN DM, then GC .

So sad, another of my heroes gone, thanks for the music Gerry. R.I.P
Simon Nicol gave a wonderful tribute, but in true acerbic style he ended "..............the one thing I won't miss was his infuriating tardiness !" Thanks Si, no mention of 1000 thick Swiss, then ?

I wouldn't say we are as good as Ipswich man for man but they had a momentum on their side, a sense of now is the time, some judicious strengthening whereas we didn't and still haven't adequately replaced Scott and arguably Semenyo, plus great availability with key players.
They're one of those teams who are greater than the sum of their parts .

A win and Bristol Sport bot posts.
Tiresome.
You could have asked the hypothetical question without the gushing praise.
You could also have asked why it appears to be the case that James is not being renewed in what would be a brainless decision - you’ve got a line in, so ask.
Sorry to disappoint, but I know the OP and he's got nothing to do with Bristol Sport.............of course I could be a BS "bot" and that's exactly what I would say !

Stuart Taylor was a real gentleman.
I never met Larry Lloyd, but I met Stuart Taylor several times and, together with Graham Day, another Rovers centre back stalwart who I knew quite well, they were both really nice men.
Sadly, all three of the aforementioned Rovers centre backs have now passed away.
I remember LL had a very sort of high pitched voice for a big bloke !
(put me in mind of Dave Davis ( Kinks) voice )

He played in that cup replay I mentioned in 68 on another thread, we wo 2-1.
Him and Stuart Taylor were known as the Twin Towers !
