He also mentioned potentially going to some play off games here and abroad if time allows due to watching players live for recruitment Perhaps we have our eye on someone in League One, Two's play off teams.
A few good ones at peterbro .

Our midfield looks promising , the big bit now is the No.10 .
As it stands we have ;
Bird , Knight , TGH , Stokes , Murphy , Williams? James?Defence when all fit looks decent too.
Striker one short as it is, 2 if Conway goes .
Who was it that did the squad depth thing ?
Good post pity we didnt snap up whittaker a while back would have been the perfect jigsaw .

Weird response. Seems you have little idea about doing the morally right thing
Three cheers for LM. Gone up in my estimation. Fantastic gesture.
No problem mate hope you stayed after the end of game to applaud them all off the pitch .

If your talking like that why didnt he give minutes to mubude as we wont see him again .

Well TGH has been injured for a start and perhaps bearing in mind LM sees the players day in day out and knows what injuries and niggles they’re carrying he saw no real need to take any great risks with TGH.
Yesterdays game against Rotherham would have no bearing on next season, it was a dead rubber game
Yes but i went to see a good finish to the season although there was nothing to gain i didnt realise we were watching a charity match ?

TGH hasent had a look in for weeks your playing two slow midfielders in james anw williams you need some one in there that czn run all players walked round the pitch at the end got applause so yes ten mins would be ok .

Do you think Manning would find out anything he didn’t already know about TGH if he’d been on the pitch yesterday for the number of minutes Andy King was ?
It was the right thing to do in the circumstances and I’d imagine that the majority of supporters yesterday would think that
TGH hasent had a look in for weeks your playing two slow midfielders in james anw williams you need some one in there that can run all players come to the end of the road so ten mins wouldave been fine they all came round the pitch after the game and got applause so my thoughts thatt was enough .

I think we are guessing a little at his impact on changing the atmosphere, personally he has had maybe a handful of good games and some poor ones (remember the sending off against Cardiff) and yesterday I would have preferred to see TGH - who is our future being given minutes.
I think we need to stop signing players in their twilight years - he’s clearly a model professional and a club supporter but we need to push the wages towards getting better value and demand consistent impactful performances.
Exactly bring him on for ten minutes but play players who are our future TGH knight etc nice that hes a city fan but so am i but id rather manning be looking at players of the future .

Roberts has really stepped up after some rather tentative early performances. You'd want him keeping his place next

Apart from cronick he brought some great players in

As my one and only time on the pitch too, I plucked a few blades of grass from the centre circle after the game as a memento. Went home, put them in a small, square plastic box. I have no idea what happened to it.
Done the same at coventry when we stayed up

Think it’s 3 hamstrings now, not that it matters.
My only hope is that it is indeed a full pre-season that’s needed to “cure” him.
So much potential what little we saw of him hope he gets through this but a big ask .

Couldn't agree more. The quality has varied from the dream results coming true in the First Division to a team of mid teenage boys at the bottom of Division Four. In 1982, I did something that Lansdown never has or never will do. I spent the £90 of cash in my savings bank account on shares to keep City in business. And so did around 2,000 others.
I have little respect now for SL as over 25 years he has spent peanuts on City, City Women and Bristol Rugby. When he completely clears his bank account as I did, I'll grant him some respect. He is taking the piss out of us supporters. Not funding the playing staff to give us a better chance of top quality football.
And employing a head coach who is trying to do the impossible; to play the same style and quality as the Man City's, Real Madrid's with Second and Third Division quality playing staff. They're doing their very best but the style of play that Manning is trying to produce is way beyond our players ability. So send Manning back to Man City where he can coach their thirteen year olds!
Yes my bruv worked as an apprentice carpet fitter maggs clifton gave his total wage at the time for shares hence mum had no house keepin money that week only received one share certificate but you and him were part of keeping us alive .

Indeed, it just proved to me one final time that Manning prefers to set up not to lose rather than play more expansive football to try and win.
In fact I've been hoping he would prove me wrong ever since the negative way he set up in his first game at QPR.
Two decent wins aligned with one good performance in the past few weeks has not convinced me that next season won't be more of the same dreary boring football.
Exactly im worried where were gonna get our fifty odd points to stay up next year one good performance every six games wont cut it .
