    “He was useless” ok mate🙄

When will you be showing us show it’s done then?.
Seriously, what do you want out of the officials, other than giving every decision City’s way. It’s boring now seeing the officials slagged off continuously.
If you think you could do better, then go for it, get your black kit on, then tell us when you do your first game!.

Oh ffs keep watching the t.v .

Committing a foul is not always a yellow card offence. I didn’t see any particular foul that they were “getting away” with and not getting carded.

Both teams received 2 yellows each, which seemed fine imo.
I watched it on tv thanks. Do you referee often ?.

Thats why you didnt get a true reflection of the game read other comments on this page most agree with me he was useless and so was his linesman just favour the big prem teams or ex .

A referee will ( when he can ) talk to players on first name terms, it’s all about building up a rapport with the players.
As for the Vyner challenge that earned him a yellow, a close up camera angle showed he didn’t actually touch him.

Did the referee get this close up camera view… no, but because people on here did, then they blame the referee.

There are so many experts at officiating on here, that I’m amazed we have a referee shortage in this country…. 🤣

Im on about the challenges that saints players were getting away with endless times before any of their players were booked just wondering did you go to the game or watch it on t.v ?

    No.

And too bloody right.  Should be an absolute top priority.  For me, currently player of the season by a country mile.

Edit: To clarify, I was responding to both your points, not saying it was too bloody right that we hadn't offered him a contract!!!

The experienced one to keep with the young ones next year get rid of the others .

It sounded like you didn’t have the best journey getting to Nottingham either.

There must have been some big problems somewhere: our sat nav took us around the back of beyond once we got off the M1.

No problem shems coach 56 of us had a drink in Ashby half hr to fourty five mins straight in away end .

Do they not have Sat nav’s - or being nostalgic, maps - on the coaches?!!

M6/M5 misses that closure and only takes 5 mins more than when it’s open!

Seriously, I noticed that even more if the M42 looked like being closed all weekend - that will affect us Saturday

Not sure mate not the driver and he wasnt the Quickest .

With the trips on vpn airways and streaming services, tonight felt like a trip down memory lane, where most of us would be listening to away games on the radio and waiting for the first fans to arrive back and start a thread or a post with “just back from….”!

Was quite enjoyable listening to BBCRB again, been a few years.

So anyone that’s been, be good to hear what it was really like.

Played great football Dave really Battled not clinical enough upfront as per usual had some good chances shite journey back M42 closed back at temple meads 3am .

At the moment the top six are, and how we got on.

    1. Leicester City h ?                a 0-1

    2. Southampton h ?                 a 0-1

    3 Leeds United h 0-1               a 1-2

    4. Ipswich h 0-1                        a ?

    5. WBA h 0-0                             a ?

    6. Hull City h 3-2                       a 1-1

So 8 matches played, did not score in 5 of them. 5 out of 24 points gained 5 matches lost by the odd goal.

So you can see that we are not a top 6 team, but very close. We all know we need to score more goals.

One more goal scored in each of these matches equals 9 extra points, and of course all those top six teams would have lost points.

So  close but so far away.

We will be thankfull to stay up ten points from bottom

Why us Pring, contracted until 2026 getting sold seemingly.

We are not under pressure to sell as such, we know this. I know sometimes it can be inevitable ie Scott but that should've been the last big sale for a while IMO.

Accept Conway is a greater risk given the lack of contract progress but maybe just maybe one year after 2 seasons of heavy lifting keep your best, add a bit more depth and go for the top 6, more specifically the playoffs.

    Meet the lansdowns

Listening to the tins interview King,James will be gone. Williams not sure he will get a new deal. Wells, Nailsmith and Cornick could be gone, hasn't worked out for the latter. Mehmeti good player in there somewhere but is the championship a step to high. Bell get him out on a season loan he could come good.

Agree except about Bell looks like a schoolboy against men too gentle and too nice .

I've been to one home game since Manning was appointed, Forest last week. Away games are OK but Ashton Gate is a boring place these days and the lack of atmosphere makes me feel very uneasy. Don't mind going for the women as its laid back and casual with so few people there.

I was just waiting for Leeds to score a second so I could turn the TV off and go to bed, it was absolutely miserable last night. The Leeds fan on here said our football is disjointed, a very good word to describe the turgid nonsense we produce game after game particularly at home

The backward and sideways shit does my head in

Bell has really regressed since the the first month of the season. Still gets into some good positions, but then either wants to take an extra touch and is closed down (like last night), or makes the wrong decision. When he came into the side he was an instinctive finisher and playing wide hit a lot of 1st time crosses, that ability seems to have been lost.

Mehmeti could yet develop into a good option, things almost happen when he plays, like his good movement to get the shot in last night which nearly beat the keeper. Note Wells had 2 similar chances in the first 10 mins and was simply not quick enough to threaten.

Yes Bell summed it for me soft touch got hammered by the centre back sheff weds home game then shook his hand when he got up

It is misconduct of Maning to have Wells or Conway on the bench and let Mehmeti and Bell start ahead of them!
They can play together and have done so before!
Conway created more than Bell and Mehmeti in the few minutes he played!

Agreed those two were poor quicker sykes is back the better
