I would rather players delivered a performance before anyone delivers a song.
There is a reason Vyner doesn't have one yet.

It's dodgy ground to start banning for life people who shouldnt be on the pitch.
We might have lost half our squad before September is out.

TBF I'm not sure what you expect. Not all the bands are to my taste but they have to cater for a wide range of musical styles.
That bloke Elton John was particularly poor. Hope they can get something better this season.

Going into his last years of Schooling, despite numerous offers, Tommy refused to have a girlfriend as it could effect his focus getting where he wanted to be.
Dedication right there kids, take note.Just imagine the world of disappointment he would have joined us in if had got a wife

Just have to hope he won't be deployed as a wing back

To be fair to the lad, he done well to put it out for a goal kick.
I am pretty confident Baz Savage would have conceded a throw in. Maybe a corner at the other end on a bad day.

You may be missing the point of pre-season.
Players getting fit, getting used to new formations etc etc? Maybe, but surely it's equally important our nutjob crew get their verbals aligned, knuckles hardened and new Columbian marching powder road tested.

Back in the day, qualification for the big European tournaments was simple and above board.
I don't recall any French or Spanish teams playing in the Anglo-Italian Cup.

This is just for organised football though. A lot of kids just play in the playground. 'Headers and volleys' will live on.
Teachers need to get a grip.
What next, kiss-chase without condoms?

July 19th;
Forest Green @ 14.00
Exeter @ 16.30
Chippenham @ 19.30
I would think the first two are a squad mix and Chippenham the academy squad.
So with the Yate game, that is 4 fixtures in one day.
Meanwhile Pep and Jurgen burst into tears when they have 3 games in a week for their multi million pound squads of 50.

Simples. Keep the ball below head height or its a free kick. Like 5 a side but with lots more players.

Steaming In - Colin Ward - one of the early books about following football in the 1970's and 1980's. It isn't one of those typical hooligan type books - "we ran everybody off our manor", blah, blah, blah. An authentic account from somebody who was there at the time, not a main protaganist. It's been years since I read it, but I felt that it painted a true picture of what it was like to be on the terraces.
Including THAT snippet:
Trapped in the pub, I turned to Smudger. "Only chuck the glasses, keep the bottles for the close in work.."

What I want to know is where were our fizzy drink snipers during this battle?

We should respect the decision of the courts and accept their complete innocence.
Just as I do with O J Simpson, Prince Andrew and the Catholic Church.

Would be nice if they were made from recycled/recyclable plastic.... or who knows, a digital card for your phone.
(And yes, if you don't have a phone you can ask for the former)

Err, one thing that keeps getting overlooked, is 'when were we released, sold or dropped from the squad?'
Pretty sure they retired/reserved a number for "The Fans" previously as we were their 12th man.
Personally, I hope we have been sold to some European side, just so I can get a foreign passport and keep freedom of movement.
Also, I want a signing on fee. And wages. Big wages.
Fair point - I need to know who I have been transferred to so I can state I have always been a boyhood fan, dream come true etc....

How about a BOGOF offer for away fans. Offer Reading fans tickets for their game at Ashton Gate, and get a free ticket to another game at Ashton Gate this season?
Only £14 a game. Any other club beat that?

This is one of those trick questions isn't it.
So we have to work out who scored for City from inside his own half (but was no longer a City player) in the second division on the day the City game was shown on the division 3 highlights, while Bob Wilson was streaking at Ashton Gate against Brighton.
Nicholas Anelka?

Food at the gate

I have found I can save a few quid if I take my own food, drink outside the ground, borrow a mates season card and get the kit cheaper via a dodgy knock off site in China.
Meanwhile, I wonder why the club keep posting big losses.
