  1. He should go now. Seems like a nice enough guy but clearly out of his depth. When you start 2 unfit players and leave an expensive loanee out of the squad that is the sign of him losing the plot. There doesn’t appear to be any specific style of play or formation employed by him and seems clueless with tactics when trying to effect a game. I would give Andy King a go to the end of the season. He’s had a positive effect on the youngsters and got all the coaching badges. It could turn out to be a genius stroke but won’t happen as he’s a ‘Pearson’ man.
  2. Why wasn’t he going to get a new deal?
  3. A lot of people on here attack me whenever I say it but this club will continue to be also-rans as long as the Lansdowns own it.
  4. It’s just the latest fad like when players used to apply menthol vapour rub onto their shirts
  5. Perhaps he should be sent to a re-education camp to check on his thinking. Do your research mate and you might find out about the heart conditions/attacks caused by the jabs especially in young men. Not to mention the mystery increased deaths. I’m sure big pharma would like the likes of Nahki to ‘think differently’.
  6. Same old City I’m afraid. Fed up with always being the heroes after losing big cup games and play-off finals, we are perennial losers. Doesn’t matter if it’s the 1st team, under 21s or the ladies. Even the Bears cracked a few years back having been 40 odd point to nil at half-time. Let’s stop patting ourselves on the back for having a soft underbelly and underdog mindset. Given Forest’s league position I wouldn’t have thought they’d have been too bothered going out last night?!
  7. Exactly what I said on Friday night and got roundly mocked for it. Leeds will win this but Plymouth look a well-drilled team and head and shoulders better than our shit show the other night.
  8. I think the ones that have received their P45s the next day. Remember it’s his clubs and his money! Don’t understand why anyone like him gets involved in sport if they don’t want the glory? SL could find enough cash down the side of his sofa to help keep the girls up. Truly baffling and very sad for all those involved with City ladies who thought the recent promotion was the start of bigger things. I can’t understand it with the high profile of women’s football now but then I can understand when I remember who’s running the show. It will be a happy day for me when the Lansdowns move on.
  9. Take a bow Steve Lansdown. Making Bristol proud….
  10. They are average. We are inconsistent and lacking quality. What has changed since we ran them close at their place? We made a bog standard Leeds team look like Real Madrid tonight. I’m actually surprised by how poor this league is this year given the big clubs involved. I just can’t see a way back for Manning after tonight.
  11. It’s an average Leeds team. They were made to look world class by a dreadful City team set up by a clueless coach. If they were in the prem I’d wager they’d be in the bottom two. Look at how useless they were in front of goal given the amount of chances created. I wouldn’t wait any longer I’d pull the trigger on Manning tonight and give Andy King a go until the end of the season. Or would that just be ‘silly’?!
  12. Silly? Before tonight’s game we were 3rd from bottom of the form table. We were torn apart tonight by an average Leeds team. Where do we go from here Northern Red? I honestly despair with the likes of you. Silly boy.
  13. You’ve just contradicted yourself mate. Manning needs to go after tonight. We have just been battered by a very average Leeds team.
  14. There is no puzzle. Steve Lansdown is in charge and responsible for City, the Bears & the ladies. The others are just bit part players. He alone sets the budgets and is responsible for this shit show.

I’ve said for a long time he’s not good enough at this level although to be fair to him he has improved this season. He has technical flaws in his game still which is costing us a lot of points and physically still looks like a teenager to me.
  16. I’ve said for a while now the Bristol Sport clubs are all in a managed decline. How SL would love the rugby and women’s football to go amateur again!!
  17. Couldn’t agree with you more. The exact same thing happened last time the girls went down. A golden opportunity thrown away yet again! As with the rest of Bristol Sport we know where the blame lies.
  18. So the 4th best supported team in the league are going down with a whimper. Shame.
  19. Always thought the Lansdowns have had a very easy ride tbh. If they were the owners of Man Utd with the same track record there would be mobs of ‘fans’ balaclava clad lighting flares trying to intimidate SL outside his Guernsey home. The extent of the grief they actually get is a few fans on the forum telling them to do one!!
  20. I reckon our Jan window is done. Whatever happened to Tinnion claiming we were always looking 3 windows ahead or some such bollox?! Remember JL said we have a top 6 squad and the wages were maxed out according to Nige. So why all of a sudden are we expecting new players to come in? We have Murphy and our ‘new’ striker will probably be the return on loan of Palmer-Houldon. Watch this space…..
  21. Exactly nothing will ever change under the Lansdowns. Groundhog Day on steroids. If ever a club needed a fresh impetus and investment it is us.
  22. Hate to say it but I think that’s the attacking midfielder position sorted out?!
  23. The Watford result has proved to be another false dawn. Same old, same old City.
  24. Manning for me is like Dean Holden 2.0. Nothing against the guy but he has no pedigree at this level and looks like a glorified P.E teacher to me. Unfortunately I think the job is way too big for him and this is the start of the slide downwards. Cue the hunt for a new manager next year:- ‘’we need an experienced manager to help get us out of relegation trouble’’. Sound familiar?!
  25. Anyone remember Steve Johnson? Terry Cooper paid about £30k for him I think which was a lot for us back in the 80’s. My one memory of him was ballooning the ball over the bar when he was put through at Eastville. We lost 1-0 to a Holloway goal and can’t remember him playing for us again?!
