  1. Dean Smith also would be a decent appointment
  2. My top three would be Steve Schumacher ryan lowe Ian evatt
  3. Thank you nige, class act! Absolutely shameful way to he treated by the board. Hope you get your back problems sorted and good luck for the future!
  4. This is a disgrace! This makes our club look a laughing stock so unfair on pearson we will never progress under lansdowns ownership
  5. It wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.
  6. Also on the injury crisis yes it clearly needs looking at but we are also running with a very small squad which certainly won't make those inevitable injuries any easier to cope with if the order to run with a smaller squad has come from upstairs as a cost cutting exercise then again it all leads back to 1 man.
  7. Yes the medical side also being a bone of contention, alot of those members of staff other then DR were there failing before pearson come in. Again how much of the budget is allowed for top class medical staff what is the process around the recruitment strategy for said medical staff questions that can only be answered by those above which again comes back to the complete lack of communication and leadership
  8. This is the point I'm making about Pearsons hands being tied behind his back! So let's look at his options moving the more experienced players out of position or turning to vastly unproven and inexperienced kids ? How can a manager operate under such limitations offorded to him by those above ? Lansdown also needs to be accountable it's quite baffling that your trying to exempt the head of this football club of any blame when clearly the problems are further up the food chain.
  9. Nigel and his team have been the only stability this club has had the work he has done is remarkable given the constraints put on him and the complete lack of leadership from above he must really care about the club as no one can blame pearson for thinking sod this and walking.
  10. But I would like to hear from lansdown as to why he has chosen not to reinvest transfer revenue into a clearly depleted and small sqaud. He has made the managers job extremely difficult sanctioning sells for our best players and expecting us to push on with kids ! Really how can we judge pearson on his tactics when he is constantly forced to place square pegs into round holes because of the contraints handed to him from above ? Landowne needs to come out and communicate exactly what he wants for the club because it can't be promotion... and if he is sick and tired of investing then that's fine but don't just go silent while your punters fork out tooth and nail for seaosn tickets only to be met with mediocracy year in year out.
  11. Steve or job won't speak there gutless hiding in the shadows lansdown clearly just wants out as soon as possible hence the lack of investment it's directionless at the top. Jon*
  12. Definitely looks like pearson is being completely set up to fail. Which is remarkable given the professionalism shown by him and his staff and the work he has put in to stabilise the football club. He has earned the right to be back and supported its disgraceful the whole set up is laughable jon Lansdown ? He's a figure head steve doesn't communicate with thr fans no wonder Alexander walked sell the bloody club if your not interested
  13. It's so obvious where are problems are, the board have completely tied our managers hands behind his back! Told to cut wages promote kids hes made millions in transfer revenues which only a small fraction has been distributed to him we can only afford injury prone players no real wonder why there all in the treatment room players having to be played out of position kids who aren't ready getting shoe horned into the 1st team this is all down to one man the constraints lansdown puts on this team is astonishing yes I get all the stadium and training facilities stuff thats all great but recruitment, medical department and proper investment into the playing side is what we need
  14. Struggling to find any working streams for this one
  15. Maite grant and josh bowler are a very accomplished forward 3 at this level with our thread bare defence it's going to be tough
  16. Surely a wind up ? Not like the players they came down with and kept weren't signed for millions of pounds in the Premier league and put on mega money or anything
  17. Yes he caught my eye aswell very energetic nimble and technically gifted player was everywhere for Coventry!
