For an attacking full playing centre back I think Pring has been excellent.
He has won everything in the air, not been beaten and bar a couple of excitable moments has been good with it at his feet, although needs to calm the long balls down a bit

Ah I saw he was missing and got excited because I thought I might have been on to something!

Could someone like Knight-Lebel be on the bench for the first team today?
-
I think I’d like to see the team as;
O’Leary
Tanner Vyner Pring Dasilva
James Scott
Cornick
Sykes Wells Mehmeti
If Wells is to be continued on the bench, I’d prefer to see Andi play there than Cornick or Bell and I’d prefer to see Cornick in Scotts role than Andi.

Foul given because the defender hit the keeper.
Honestly, the standard of officiating in this division is absolutely disgusting.
The ref is actually cheating if he’s giving free kicks to Cardiff for their players fouling their own players!

The Scottish guy who normally does the Ranger Celtic games, internationals and the odd Championship/league 1
Dunno his name but I think he does a good job of adding to the occasion without going overboard

Sam Bell's has the misfortune to find that Mehmeti is now ahead of him in the pecking order for LHS attacker. For me Sam is not suited to playing central striker, and should not be picked ahead of Wells to start in that role.
I think the 2 players for each position role will be;
LHS - Mehmeti & Bell
SC - Wells & Conway
RHS - Sykes & Cornick
AM - Scott & Weimann

I thought Kalas played very well for the time he was on the pitch. He’s not as good on the floor as Rob but he’s hasn’t lost his leap or warrior like attitude

Got to give Mehmeti chance to learn, you’ve got to allow the maverick players to do their thing, that’s why you bring them in for that something different.
With the ball he’s a Maverick, but I like how off the ball he tracks his man, presses, seems ok in the air, doesn’t shirk a challenge.
I think we’ve got ourselves a right player here.

Yes, as for me Sykes is not a physically strong player, he is very good but he is also easily out muscled and I think he plays better against attacking teams where he will get more freedom and less hassle, I think Mehmeti will be trickier for Sunderland to deal with, whilst they will just go in tough on Sykes. I think he could come on for Andi or Mehmeti with 25 to play, and offer a fresh problem.
I'd prefer Sykes to play after his 5 goals in 6 games that play Weimann with his 5 crosses out of play.

Some of you will probably remember the terror attack at Glasgow airport about 15 years or so ago, where a car filled with explosives was driven into the doors of the terminal building. Thankfully the vehicle failed to explode and there were only a few minor injuries.
I was on holiday in California at the time, and the American news networks covering the story put subtitles on the screen whenever they were playing clips of locals being interviewed.
Ah yes, when confronted by a burning terrorist, one’s of the Scottish hero’s “Reportedly, he kicked Ahmed in the groin and shouted: “F****n’ mon, then.”
Another guy tore a tendon in football kicking another one!

Might interest a few. Seems like quite a funny guy. Good luck trying to understand everything!

As we have previously discussed Luton are incredibly secretive re contracts & when they expire or have been extended but of course he’ll know all the details.
Bree has done well there after a bit of an up & down career prior to them, hard to know whether he’s a Prem player or a great signing if they go down, though.
I think he's a bit of both. I like him a lot, good technically on the ball and solid defensively. Probably lacks the athleticism to play for a team in the top end of the Prem, but wouldn't look out of place at a yo-yo club.

Footballers often get a bad rap for being soft, diving around, simulation and gamesmanship etc.
We fans generally on the whole say we hate it.
Yet you watch that game yesterday and every touch on their players, every time they went down in a challenge the home fans played along, baying for a foul or even a yellow or red card from an over dramatic the top fall.
That Preston team base themselves around all that shit and the hypocritical fans encourage it and play along - does my head in.
I’m not against the dark arts from time to time but I’d hate to watch that every week.
Don't forget all the handball appeals!

He's got a bit of edge about him too. When Nahki got Cunningham'd, Scott was straight in to try and drag Wells away, but not before he'd pushed two of the Preston players behind the refs back.

Wanting the best for our club outweighs any player, the “our” nonsense needs to stop,he has no loyalty to city and never will because he he isn’t even a city fan
Didn't he sign a new contract last season?

Preston fans raving about him on their forum.
"Sorry if it’s already been mentioned, but that Alex Scott is an unbelievable footballer.
He’s 19 and is literally dictating games. Wow.
Can understand why Brizzle want £25 million for him. Superb."- 8

I find them interesting. Wonder what it’s like coming into a dressing room full of strangers, especially from lower League…must be quite nervy for him. Little things like “Phlegm” actually telling him his name, no expectation that he’d know who Curtis Fleming was.
I watched Bentleys one for Wolves and it’s funny to see him getting changed in the changing room sat next to Neves and all the players come say hello as they come in and he introduces himself to Diego Costa as ‘Bents’.

Can't see what our game plan is.
Looks to me like it's pass it backwards to O'Leary in the hope one of his long balls to Bell or Cornick stays on the pitch and hope to pick up the drop downs.
Terrible.
